Spuhr 34 mm Hunting Rings - Sako Optilock

• 34 mm scope fit: Built for riflescopes with a 34 mm main tube, these rings provide a secure interface for larger optics commonly used on modern hunting and precision rifles.
• Optilock-style 7 mm interface: The lower interface is compatible with Optilock Ø 7 mm and related 7 mm systems, making these rings suitable for rifles that use this mounting pattern rather than a Picatinny base.
• Diagonal ring design: The Spuhr Hunting ring shape keeps material clear of the turret area, which helps preserve access to elevation and windage controls and gives the scope a cleaner, less obstructed installation.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight down while maintaining the rigidity needed for a stable optic mounting platform in field use.
• 0 MOA, non-adjustable layout: With 0 MOA inclination and no windage adjustment, the design stays simple and direct, which suits straightforward hunting setups where dependable alignment matters more than extra adjustment mechanisms.

About the Spuhr Hunting Series

The Spuhr Hunting series is a family of riflescope mounts developed for hunters who want a more traditional appearance than the company’s tactical-style ISMS mounts while still keeping the precise machining and practical design that define the brand. The series is intended for sporting rifles and hunting optics, where a lower-profile look and clean integration with the rifle matter as much as mechanical security.

A defining feature of the series is its diagonally cut ring design, which keeps ring material away from the turret area. In practice, that means easier access to scope controls and a less crowded view around the center section of the optic. Spuhr states that these mounts are machined from 7075-T651 billet aluminum, giving the series a strong but weight-conscious structure suited to field rifles that may be carried for long periods. The range includes Standard, Aesthetic, and Interface versions, allowing the user to choose between a more classic ring layout or added accessory capability through the Spuhr Interface.

About the Spuhr 34 mm Hunting Rings - Sako Optilock

The Spuhr 34 mm Hunting Rings - Sako Optilock are designed for shooters who need to mount a 34 mm riflescope on a rifle that uses the Optilock Ø 7 mm interface. That makes them a practical choice for hunting rifles and sporting setups where the rifle’s existing mounting standard is part of the appeal and the goal is to fit a modern, larger-tube optic without changing the rifle’s basic mounting concept.

The ring layout uses 0 MOA inclination, which suits general-purpose zeroing distances and conventional hunting applications where a simple, centered mounting solution is preferred. Because the design has no windage adjustment, the structure stays mechanically straightforward, with fewer variables during installation. The aluminium construction helps keep overall weight under control, which matters on a rifle carried over long walks or used in a compact woodland or mountain hunting setup.

As part of the Hunting series, these rings also benefit from Spuhr’s diagonal ring geometry. That shape leaves more visual and physical clearance around the scope’s turret saddle, so adjustments remain easier to reach and the mounted optic looks less crowded. The result is a ring set aimed at shooters who want a clean, stable and traditional-looking mounting solution for a 34 mm hunting riflescope on a compatible Sako or Optilock-pattern platform.

About Spuhr

Spuhr i Dalby AB was founded by Håkan Spuhr in 2007 and is based in Löddeköpinge, Sweden. The company focuses on the design and manufacture of firearm optics mounts and weapon upgrade components, with a reputation built around precise machining and practical mechanical solutions for serious rifle use. In 2010, Spuhr introduced its Ideal Scope Mount System (ISMS), a mount concept that combined secure scope mounting with integrated attachment points for accessories.

That emphasis on modularity and robust engineering also extends into products such as the Ideal Chassis System (SICS) for bolt-action rifles and upgrade kits for the HK G3 and MP5 platforms. Across its product range, Spuhr is known for designing mounts and related components that prioritize repeatable alignment, durability and useful integration features rather than unnecessary complexity.
