Shilba Target Pro 8-32x56

• 8-32x magnification range: The wide zoom span lets this riflescope move from careful load development and bench work to small-target shooting at longer distances, with enough top-end magnification to place shots more precisely.
• 56 mm objective lens: A large front lens helps maintain a brighter sight picture as magnification increases, which is especially useful when aiming at fine targets or working in subdued light.
• Side-focus parallax adjustment: Parallax can be tuned from the shooting position, making it easier to keep the target and reticle on the same visual plane for more consistent precision at varying distances.
• 30 mm tube construction: The larger tube supports a robust target-style layout and gives the scope the proportions expected for serious long-range and competition-oriented setups.
• Waterproof, fogproof and shockproof build: Nitrogen filling and sealed construction help the scope stay usable through temperature changes, damp conditions and regular recoil, reducing interruptions in the field or on the range.

About the Shilba Target Pro Series

The Shilba Target Pro series sits in the brand’s target and precision-oriented riflescope range, built around a 30 mm tube and intended for shooters who need repeatable aiming at extended distances. Within the series, Shilba positions these scopes for hunting and competition shooting, combining higher magnification options with features that support careful shot placement rather than fast, close-range use.

A defining part of the line is its use of HD300 optics together with parallax adjustment, a combination that suits disciplines where target detail matters and distance changes can affect apparent point of aim. The series includes both 6-24x50 and 8-32x56 configurations, giving shooters a choice between a somewhat more compact setup and a model with more top-end magnification. Shilba also describes the Target Pro 30 family as water-resistant, shock-resistant and fungus-resistant, reflecting a practical design aimed at regular outdoor use. Across the range, Mil-Dot reticles are used, while illumination depends on the individual configuration.

About the Shilba Target Pro 8-32x56

The Shilba Target Pro 8-32x56 is the higher-magnification model in the series, intended for shooters who prioritize target definition and precise aiming over compact size. Its 8x to 32x magnification range gives it a clear role in benchrest, varmint-style use and other long-range or precision shooting applications where seeing small aiming points clearly is more important than maintaining a very wide field of view. The 56.00 mm objective lens supports that role by helping preserve image brightness as magnification rises, which becomes increasingly valuable when using the upper end of the zoom range.

This model uses a second focal plane reticle, so the reticle keeps the same apparent size throughout the zoom range. In practice, that gives a consistently fine aiming reference at high magnification and avoids the thicker reticle appearance some shooters prefer to avoid for target work. The scope also features side-focus parallax adjustment, allowing the shooter to fine-tune the image for distance without breaking position, which helps reduce aiming error when shooting at small targets.

Mechanically, the scope uses capped multi-turn turrets with CCW rotation, a layout that protects the adjustments from accidental movement while still allowing substantial correction travel through multiple revolutions. A 30 mm tube, nitrogen-filled body, multicoated lenses, and waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction round out a design meant to stay stable on demanding hunting optics or target rifle setups.

About Shilba

Shilba traces its origins to an optical workshop near Osaka, Japan, in 1960. The brand’s early riflescope development took shape in 1975, when technicians from Argentina traveled to Japan to create a scope intended for hare hunting, linking Japanese optical production with practical field requirements from South American shooters. Shilba’s first riflescope models were 4×32 and 4×40, and the initial 2,000-unit production run sold out in under 60 days.

In 1981, the current owners acquired the Shilba brand together with its expertise and supplier contacts. Since then, the company has built a broader catalog that includes riflescopes, binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes, and scope mounts and rings. Shilba later expanded beyond its home market, exporting to neighboring Latin American countries from 2000 and entering Spain in 2004. That background helps explain the brand’s continued focus on practical sporting optics and shooting equipment.
