Safariland SOLIS ALS OWB Paddle Holster for SIG P365X MACRO RDS with Torch TLR-7 SMB SAFSEV

• ALS retention system: The holster automatically locks the pistol in place as it is seated, giving a higher level of security during movement while still allowing a fast, natural draw with the thumb release.
• OWB paddle carry: The paddle setup makes the holster easy to put on and remove without rethreading a belt, which suits users who want a practical outside-the-waistband carry option for regular range or field use.
• Optic and light compatibility: This SOLIS configuration is built for the SIG P365X MACRO with a TLR-7 SMB and red dot sight, so it supports a modern carry pistol setup without forcing compromises in fit.
• SafariSeven polymer construction: Safariland’s proprietary nylon blend resists weather and temperature extremes and is designed not to mark the firearm’s finish, helping the holster hold up to daily wear.
• Open-top, open-muzzle design: The open-top layout keeps the draw stroke simple, while the open muzzle helps clear debris more easily and can better accommodate pistols with extended or threaded barrel configurations.

About the SOLIS Series

The Safariland SOLIS series sits in the brand’s concealment-focused outside-the-waistband lineup and is built around a clear idea: combine the security of ALS retention with the speed and simplicity of an open-top OWB holster. It is aimed at users who carry compact and subcompact pistols with modern accessories, especially handguns fitted with red dot sights and compact weapon lights. That makes the series relevant for concealed carry, plainclothes use, range work, and general-purpose defensive setups where a low-profile holster still needs positive retention.

A defining characteristic of the SOLIS family is its use of SafariSeven material, a proprietary nylon blend developed for durability, temperature resistance, and reduced marking on the firearm. The series also uses a reinforced two-piece body construction to maintain shape and support consistent reholstering. Rather than relying on bulky external retention devices, SOLIS keeps the profile streamlined while preserving the familiar thumb-release draw that many Safariland users already know. The result is a holster family that bridges everyday carry practicality and duty-inspired retention in a format that remains compact, optic-ready, and suited to accessory-equipped pistols.

About the Safariland SOLIS ALS OWB Paddle Holster for SIG P365X MACRO RDS with Torch TLR-7 SMB SAFSEV

This Safariland SOLIS ALS OWB Paddle Holster is configured specifically for the SIG P365X MACRO with a red dot sight and Streamlight TLR-7 SMB, which makes it a focused solution for a compact pistol that is already set up for defensive or practical use. Instead of forcing the user to choose between retention and a streamlined draw, this model uses the ALS system to secure the pistol automatically on holstering, then releases it with a thumb motion that fits naturally into a proper firing grip. In practice, that means better security during movement without adding the extra steps of a traditional retention hood.

The OWB paddle format favors convenience and flexibility. It is well suited to users who want a rigid outside-the-waistband holster that can be fitted or removed quickly, whether for daily carry, training sessions, or time on the range. Because the design is concealable, it keeps closer to the body than bulkier duty holsters while still preserving the stability of a hard-shaped platform. The open-top construction supports a clean draw stroke, and the open muzzle helps with debris clearance while also accommodating pistols with longer muzzle devices or threaded-barrel layouts where applicable.

Material choice is another practical strength. The holster is built from polymer, and within the SOLIS family that means Safariland’s SafariSeven formulation, chosen for resistance to weather, temperature changes, and hard daily use. For a pistol such as the P365X MACRO equipped with an optic and light, that matters because the holster must keep its shape, maintain retention consistency, and protect the setup from unnecessary wear while remaining ready for repeated draw-and-reholster cycles.

About Safariland

Safariland was established in 1964 by Neale Perkins, who began the business in Sierra Madre, California. The company built its reputation around professional carry and retention equipment, and its holsters remain closely associated with law enforcement, military, competitive shooting, and everyday defensive use. One of Safariland’s most important contributions in this category is the ALS system, which uses an internal lock to secure the firearm and releases with a thumb lever during the draw.

Safariland also developed SafariSeven, a proprietary nylon blend used in selected holsters for durability and resistance to demanding conditions. Over time, the company expanded beyond holsters into armor, accessories, and communications equipment, while keeping handgun carry systems as a core part of its identity. Today, The Safariland Group is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and the brand remains known for practical retention-focused designs that serve both professional users and the civilian market.
