Rusan Two-Piece Adapter for Hikmicro Thunder

• Two-piece clip-on interface: The two-piece design gives the Rusan Two-Piece Adapter for Hikmicro Thunder a secure connection between the clip-on and the riflescope, helping maintain consistent alignment when a thermal attachment is mounted in front of daytime optics.
• Hikmicro Thunder bayonet compatibility: Built for the Hikmicro Thunder bayonet mounting standard, this adapter provides a direct fit for the device family it is intended for, reducing setup complications and making installation more straightforward in the field.
• Wide scope-diameter coverage: Compatibility with many rear diameters, from 30 mm to 65 mm depending on variant, makes it easier to match the adapter to different riflescopes instead of limiting the clip-on to one optic only.
• Steel construction: The steel body adds rigidity and wear resistance at a critical mounting point, which is important for repeated fitting and removal on hunting rifles and other hard-used shooting setups.
• Purpose-built for thermal clip-ons: Designed specifically for front-mounted thermal clip-on use, the adapter supports a practical day-and-night setup by letting the shooter keep a familiar daytime riflescope while adding thermal capability when needed.

About the Rusan Accessories Series

Rusan Accessories is the part of the Rusan range focused on the mechanical connection between optics, riflescopes and clip-on devices. Within this family, the emphasis is on adapters and reduction rings for night-vision and thermal clip-ons, alongside the mounting hardware needed to integrate them with sporting and hunting rifles. The series sits naturally beside the company’s scope mounts, rings and rails, but its role is more specialized: it solves the practical problem of attaching a front clip-on securely and concentrically to a daytime optic.

A defining characteristic of the series is that it includes both conventional and modular adapter systems. That gives users a choice between a dedicated solution for one device and scope combination, or a more flexible system that can support several rifles or optics with the same clip-on. The range also covers device-specific interfaces and spare parts, which is important for thermal and night-vision users who need compatibility with particular mounting standards. In practice, the series is aimed at shooters who want a dependable mechanical link between clip-on technology and established riflescope setups, with a design approach centered on fit, repeatability and broad compatibility.

About the Rusan Two-Piece Adapter for Hikmicro Thunder

The Rusan Two-Piece Adapter for Hikmicro Thunder is a dedicated mounting solution for shooters who use a Hikmicro Thunder thermal clip-on in front of a conventional riflescope. Its main purpose is simple but important: it creates the physical connection that lets the clip-on sit correctly in line with the day optic, so the thermal device can be added without changing the familiar sight picture and handling of the rifle more than necessary.

The adapter is built around the Hikmicro Thunder bayonet mounting standard on the device side, while the scope side is offered for a broad range of outer diameters. That wide fitment range is useful for hunters and other users who may run different riflescopes, because it makes it possible to match the adapter to the optic rather than replace the whole mounting concept. As a front clip-on adapter, it is especially relevant for setups where the shooter wants to preserve the daytime riflescope’s reticle, magnification behavior and eye relief while adding thermal observation and aiming capability in low light or at night.

Steel construction is a key part of the design. In this application, rigidity matters because the adapter sits at the junction between two optical systems, and a solid structure helps resist wear from repeated mounting cycles. The black finish keeps the appearance discreet and consistent with typical riflescope and clip-on equipment. Overall, this Rusan adapter is a practical accessory for building a stable thermal clip-on system around the Hikmicro Thunder platform.

About Rusan

Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer with roots in a family metalworking business that dates to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company later moved into dedicated production of scope mounts in 1993. Based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, Rusan-Mikron is known for making mounting components for sporting and hunting firearms, including scope mounts, rings, Picatinny rails and firearm tuning parts.

Within the optics field, Rusan is particularly well established for adapter clamps for clip-on sights and for interfaces used with night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. The company introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, and that specialization remains central to its reputation today. This background is directly relevant to products such as the Hikmicro Thunder adapter, where precise machining and dependable fit are more important than cosmetic complexity.
