Rusan reducing ring for Pulsar Krypton Product description

  • Thread Conversion for Krypton Systems: This reducing ring converts the adapter side from M52x0.75 to the M35x1.0 thread used by the Pulsar Krypton platform, making it the key link between a compatible Rusan adapter and the clip-on device.
  • Built for Modular Use: As a dedicated reduction ring rather than a full adapter, it lets an existing Rusan adapter setup be configured for a Krypton device without replacing the whole mounting solution.
  • Steel Construction: The steel body gives the ring the rigidity needed for repeatable alignment and dependable thread engagement, which matters when mounting a thermal clip-on in front of a day scope.
  • Conventional Adapter Compatibility: It is designed to work with Rusan’s conventional adapter system on the M52x0.75 side, so it fits naturally into established clip-on mounting setups.
  • Counternut Included: The included counternut helps secure the ring in place during installation, supporting a stable connection between the adapter and the thermal clip-on device.

About the Rusan Accessories Series

Rusan Accessories covers the supporting parts that make Rusan’s clip-on mounting systems adaptable to different optics and device interfaces. The series is centered on practical connection components for night-vision and thermal clip-on devices, including adapters, reduction rings, and related parts that let one mounting system serve more than one device or riflescope configuration. That approach is especially useful for hunters and professional users who want to move a clip-on unit between rifles without rebuilding the entire setup.

Within the wider Rusan range, this series sits alongside the company’s mounts, rings, and rails, but its role is more specialized: it focuses on the interface between the day scope, the adapter clamp, and the clip-on device itself. Rusan offers both conventional and modular adapter concepts, and the accessories line supports that flexibility with device-specific thread standards and spare parts. The result is a product family built around compatibility, repeatable fit, and straightforward integration rather than unnecessary complexity.

About the Rusan reducing ring for Pulsar Krypton

The Rusan reducing ring for Pulsar Krypton is a dedicated interface part for users who need to connect a Pulsar Krypton thermal clip-on to a Rusan adapter system that uses the M52x0.75 adapter-side thread. On the clip-on side, it provides the M35x1.0 thread required for the Krypton platform, allowing the mounting system to be matched to the device standard without changing the complete adapter arrangement.

In practical use, this matters because clip-on systems depend on precise mechanical alignment. A reducing ring is a small component, but it plays an important role in keeping the connection between the day optic and the thermal device consistent. The steel construction supports that role by providing a durable threaded interface that stands up well to repeated installation and removal. Its black finish keeps the appearance consistent with typical hunting optics and tactical optics setups while also remaining unobtrusive on the rifle.

This model is intended specifically as a thread reducing ring, not a complete adapter. It must be combined with a compatible Rusan Q-R adapter in the appropriate size for the day scope. For users building or adapting a Pulsar Krypton setup, that makes this ring a focused, purpose-built part: it solves the thread-interface requirement cleanly and keeps the overall mounting system modular.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company grew from the Rusan family’s metalworking business, which dates to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. That background explains why Rusan is closely associated with precision-made mounting components rather than general sporting goods.

Today, Rusan manufactures scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, with a strong reputation for adapter solutions for night-vision and thermal devices. The company introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, and that long involvement in clip-on interfaces is directly relevant to products like this reducing ring. Rusan’s expertise lies in making mechanical connections that are simple, durable, and tailored to specific optic and device standards.

Hi, I have a Pulsar Proton FXQ30, Blaser Infinity 1-7x28 and Blaser BL52 adapter. Now I need a reduction ring. I can see you have two from Rusan and one from Smartclip. Which one do you recommend for my setup? I lean towards Rusan fixed version because it seems the most reliable but I could be wrong. Thinking about the ability to screen alignment if it is a must?

Hi this looks better than the PSP from pulsar. Presumably you need I adaptor per scope of the right size. My Nikko scope has objective of 63.78 mm measure with calliper. Which would he best size? Also once set will it stay in right position of screen on taking on and off. Also does the Krypton reduction ring have to be bought separately or is it included? Thanks

by James

PSP adapter from Pulsar includes the plastic rings (inserts), while the adapter from Rusan is suitable for the fixed dimension. For your riflescope, we would suggest the 64 mm adapter. Once the adapter is set properly it should work when taken on and off.
