Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Remington 700, 78, Mauser M18, 30 mm

• Pivot design: The pivot system lets the scope swing on and off the rifle in a controlled, repeatable way, which is useful when a hunting rifle must alternate between a scoped setup and open sights or transport-friendly storage.
• 30 mm ring interface: Built for scopes with a 30 mm main tube, this mount suits many modern hunting optics while giving a secure hold that matches the tube size correctly.
• Without bases: This version is supplied as the upper pivot-mount assembly only, making it the right choice for rifles already fitted with compatible EAW pivot bases or for users building a rifle-specific setup in stages.
• Black finish: The black surface keeps the mount visually discreet on the rifle and pairs well with most scope finishes used on sporting and hunting firearms.
• Croatian manufacture: Made in Croatia by Rusan, the mount comes from a specialist maker focused on scope mounts, rails, rings, and adapters for sporting and hunting firearms.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are part of the company’s dedicated line of firearm optics mounts, developed for shooters who want a traditional pivoting scope solution with the convenience of quick removal. The series covers rifle-specific variants for a wide range of actions and mounting interfaces, including versions for 11 mm prisms, Picatinny rails, and complete pivot systems with or without bases. That broad fitment makes the range especially relevant for hunters who use established sporting rifles and want a mount tailored to the firearm rather than a generic one-size approach.

Across the series, Rusan offers complete pivot mounts with rings for 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm scope tubes, so the platform can support everything from compact stalking scopes to larger low-light optics. The line is defined by steel construction and quick-release fixation, combining mechanical strength with the practical advantage of removing the scope when needed. Within the wider Rusan catalog, these mounts sit as a robust, field-oriented option for hunters who value repeatable positioning, rifle-specific fit, and a mounting style that remains popular on classic European hunting rifles.

About the Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Remington 700, 78, Mauser M18, 30 mm

The Rusan Pivot Mount without Bases for Remington 700, 78, Mauser M18, 30 mm is intended for shooters who already have compatible pivot bases on the rifle and need the upper mount assembly for a 30 mm riflescope. That makes it a practical choice for replacing a worn upper, setting up a second optic, or completing a rifle-specific pivot system without buying duplicate bases. On rifles such as the Remington 700, Remington 78, and Mauser M18, this format suits hunters who want the flexibility of a removable scope while keeping the handling of a traditional sporting rifle.

The pivot layout is especially useful in hunting use because it allows the optic to be detached when required for transport, maintenance, or a switch to another sighting arrangement, then reattached through the same pivoting engagement. The 30 mm ring size matches many modern hunting scopes, including models with larger internal adjustment systems or brighter low-light optics than older 1-inch designs. Because this version is supplied without bases, it is best suited to users building around existing compatible EAW-style pivot bases listed for supported rifle actions. Finished in black, the mount keeps a restrained appearance on the rifle and integrates cleanly with most scope bodies and hunting rifle finishes.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company’s roots in metalworking go back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the business moved into scope-mount production in 1993. That background is important in this product category because it shows a long focus on the mechanical side of fitting optics securely to sporting rifles.

Today, Rusan manufactures scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products, and it is also well known for adapter clamps used with clip-on night-vision and thermal devices. The company introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, reflecting its expertise in precise interfaces between firearms and optics. In practical terms, Rusan’s reputation is built on making mounting hardware and adapters for hunters and shooters who need dependable fit, repeatable alignment, and compatibility across many rifle models.
