Rusan Pivot Mount for CZ 550 Skandinavia, 36 mm

• Quick-release pivot system: The pivot design lets the scope come off and go back on with repeatable positioning, which is useful for rifles that alternate between optical sights or need easier transport and storage.
• 36 mm ring configuration: Built for scopes with a 36 mm main tube, this mount gives a direct fit for larger premium optics without relying on reducers or compromise solutions.
• Steel construction: A steel body adds the rigidity and wear resistance needed for a working hunting rifle, helping the mount stay stable through repeated use and recoil.
• Complete mount with bases: This version is supplied as a complete mount with bases, which simplifies installation on the intended rifle platform and keeps the mounting system consistent.
• Model-specific fit for CZ 550 Skandinavia: The geometry is made for the CZ 550 Skandinavia, giving a dedicated interface instead of a universal workaround and helping maintain proper alignment between rifle and scope.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are built as a dedicated family of rifle scope mounts for shooters who want a removable mounting system without giving up a solid mechanical fit. In the Rusan lineup, this series covers complete pivot mounts with rings for 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm scope tubes, along with versions supplied without bases for rifles that already use a compatible foundation. That broad format range makes the series relevant for both traditional hunting scopes and larger modern optics.

A defining characteristic of the series is its steel construction combined with quick-release fixation. In practical use, that means a mount designed for repeated removal and reattachment while keeping the handling familiar and the connection secure. The range also includes model-specific variants for different rifle makes and mounting interfaces, including prism and Picatinny-based solutions. This design approach suits hunters and rifle owners who prefer a mount tailored to a particular action rather than a generic adapter, especially when a clean fit, dependable lock-up, and straightforward scope removal matter in the field.

About the Rusan Pivot Mount for CZ 550 Skandinavia, 36 mm

The Rusan Pivot Mount for CZ 550 Skandinavia, 36 mm is a dedicated scope mount for pairing a CZ 550 Skandinavia rifle with an optic that uses a 36 mm main tube. That combination places it in a more specialized part of the market, where the mount needs to support larger, often heavier scopes while still matching the rifle precisely. Because the mount is built specifically for this rifle model, it avoids the compromises that can come with universal systems and gives the user a cleaner, more integrated setup.

The pivot layout is especially useful on a hunting rifle. Quick-release fixation allows the scope to be removed when needed for transport, maintenance, or a change of sighting setup, then reattached with the same mount geometry and locking method. For shooters who value flexibility but do not want a loose or improvised interface, that is the main practical advantage of this design. The use of steel also matters here: it provides the stiffness and long-term durability expected from a mount that must hold alignment under recoil and repeated handling.

This version is supplied as a complete mount with bases, so it is configured as a full mounting solution rather than just the upper pivot assembly. For a rifle such as the CZ 550 Skandinavia, that helps keep the installation coherent and purpose-built. The result is a mount aimed at traditional hunting use where secure scope attachment, repeatable removal, and a rifle-specific fit are more important than unnecessary complexity.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating back to 1983. The company entered scope-mount production in 1993, building its reputation around precisely machined mounting solutions for sporting and hunting firearms. That long focus on metalworking is directly relevant to products such as pivot mounts, where fit, repeatability, and material quality matter more than cosmetic features.

Beyond scope mounts, Rusan produces scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning components, and it is also well known for adapter systems for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. The company introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, which helped establish it as a practical engineering brand for hunters and shooters using both conventional optics and newer electro-optical equipment. Across the range, Rusan is associated with model-specific mounting solutions rather than one-size-fits-all designs.
