Rusan Front Pivot Base for CZ 455/457 (11 mm prism)

• Model-specific fit: Built for the CZ 455/457 11 mm prism interface, this front pivot base gives the correct foundation for a Rusan pivot mounting setup without improvised adapters or mismatched contact surfaces.
• Steel construction: The steel body provides the rigidity needed in a mounting base, helping the optic stay aligned under repeated use and supporting dependable return-to-position in a pivot system.
• Part of the Rusan Pivot Mounts system: As a dedicated front base for the Rusan pivot platform, it is intended for users who want a modular mount that can be configured around a specific rifle and optic combination.
• 0 MOA inclination: The 0 MOA profile keeps the optic in a neutral mounting position, which suits general hunting and sporting rifle setups where no built-in cant is required.
• Low-profile black finish: The black finish gives the base a discreet appearance and matches common rifle and scope hardware while helping the mount blend cleanly into the overall setup.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are a family of firearm optics mounts built around a pivoting quick-release concept. Within the Rusan lineup, this series covers both complete mounts with bases and individual components for users who need to build or replace parts in a rifle-specific setup. The system is designed for shooters who want a secure scope mounting solution that can be removed and reattached in a controlled, repeatable way, making it relevant for hunting rifles and other sporting firearms where flexibility matters.

The series includes variants for different rifle platforms and mounting interfaces, including 11 mm prisms and Picatinny rails, and it is offered for specific rifle makes and models such as Anschutz and Antonio Zoli. Rusan also lists complete pivot mounts with ring sizes for 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm scope tubes, showing that the series is intended to support a wide range of optic configurations. Across the range, the emphasis is on steel construction and a practical mechanical layout suited to repeatable mounting rather than universal one-size-fits-all solutions.

About the Rusan Front Pivot Base for CZ 455/457 (11 mm prism)

The Rusan Front Pivot Base for CZ 455/457 (11 mm prism) is the forward mounting element used in a Rusan pivot setup for rifles with the 11 mm prism found on the CZ 455 and CZ 457 family. Its role is straightforward but important: it provides the front engagement point that allows the pivot mount to seat correctly on the rifle and work as intended with the rest of the mounting assembly. For a pivot system, the quality and fit of each individual part matter, because the base is part of the alignment chain between rifle and optic.

Made from steel, this base is aimed at users who want a durable mounting component for regular field use. Steel is especially relevant in a pivot mount because it supports consistent lock-up and resists the wear that can come from repeated attachment and removal. The 0 MOA inclination keeps the setup neutral, which suits conventional rimfire and sporting rifle applications where the goal is a clean, level optic installation rather than added elevation bias for extended-range dialing.

As a spare part for Rusan Pivot Mounts, this model is best suited to replacing a worn or missing front base, or to completing a rifle-specific mounting arrangement around the CZ 455/457 platform. The black finish keeps the part visually unobtrusive and consistent with typical scope and rifle hardware, while the dedicated fit helps maintain the tidy, low-profile character expected from a well-matched pivot mount system.

About Rusan

Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer whose family metalworking business dates to 1983. The company’s background is rooted in practical firearms engineering: Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the business began producing scope mounts in 1993. Rusan-Mikron is based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and its product range focuses on scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products.

The company is also known for accessories that connect modern electro-optics to hunting rifles, including adapter clamps for clip-on sights and adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, reflecting the brand’s emphasis on mechanical interfaces that solve real mounting and compatibility problems. That background makes Rusan particularly relevant in categories where precise fit, repeatability, and durable metal construction matter.
