Rusan Front Pivot Base for Winchester 88, 100

• Model-specific fit: This front pivot base is made for the Winchester 88 and Winchester 100, giving the correct interface for a Rusan pivot mounting setup without the trial-and-error that often comes with generic bases.
• Steel construction: The steel body provides the rigidity needed to keep the front mounting point stable under repeated recoil and regular scope removal, which helps preserve alignment over time.
• Part of the Rusan Pivot Mounts system: As a component within the Rusan Pivot Mounts family, it supports a detachable scope setup that is practical for rifles that may be used with different optics or carried with the scope removed.
• 0 MOA inclination: The 0 MOA configuration keeps the optic in a neutral mounting position, which suits general hunting and sporting rifle setups where no built-in cant is required.
• Low-profile black finish: The black finish gives the base a discreet appearance and matches typical rifle and mount hardware while helping it blend into a traditional sporting rifle setup.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are a dedicated family of firearm optics mounts built around a pivot-style attachment system for rifle-specific applications. Within the Rusan lineup, this series covers both complete mounts and separate components, allowing users to assemble a setup that matches a particular rifle action and optic format. The range includes versions for specific rifle makes and models, as well as variants for different mounting interfaces such as 11 mm prisms and Picatinny rails.

A defining characteristic of the series is its steel construction and quick-release fixation, which make it suitable for shooters who want a removable optic mount with repeatable mechanical engagement. Rusan also offers the system in multiple configurations for 26 (25.4), 30, 34, 36, and 40 mm scope tubes, alongside versions sold with or without bases. That modular approach makes the series relevant for traditional hunting rifles, classic sporting arms, and other firearms where a pivot mount remains a practical alternative to fixed ring-and-base arrangements.

About the Rusan Front Pivot Base for Winchester 88, 100

The Rusan Front Pivot Base for Winchester 88, 100 is a rifle-specific mounting component designed to form the front attachment point in a Rusan pivot mount installation on these classic Winchester rifles. Because the geometry of a pivot system depends on precise engagement between the base and the upper mount, a model-specific front base is important for secure lock-up and consistent scope positioning. On rifles such as the Winchester 88 and Winchester 100, that matters both for dependable handling in the field and for maintaining confidence in the optic after repeated removal and refitting.

The base is made from steel, which suits the role of a structural mounting part that must resist wear at the contact surfaces and remain stable under recoil. Its 0 MOA inclination keeps the setup neutral, making it appropriate for conventional sporting and hunting optics where additional cant is unnecessary. The black finish gives the part a restrained appearance that fits traditional rifle builds and matches common mount hardware.

As a spare or replacement part within the Rusan Pivot Mounts system, this front base is intended for users who need the correct foundation for a Winchester-specific pivot arrangement. It is especially relevant when restoring an older mount, replacing a worn component, or completing a rifle-specific setup with the proper front interface rather than adapting a less precise solution.

About Rusan

Rusan traces its roots to a family metalworking business that dates to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. Based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, Rusan-Mikron focuses on precision-made mounting solutions and related firearm components.

The company is particularly known for its work in scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails, and firearm tuning products. Its range also includes adapter clamps for clip-on sights and adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices, reflecting a strong emphasis on practical interfaces between firearms and optics. That background is directly relevant to products such as pivot bases, where machining accuracy and fit are central to reliable performance.
