ABOUT THE RECKNAGEL TWO-PIECE WEAVER BASE FOR SAVAGE FLAT TOP

The Recknagel Two-Piece Weaver Base for Savage Flat Top rifles represents a practical and economical choice for sportsmen seeking a lightweight mounting solution. Constructed from robust Black Anodized Aluminium, these bases offer excellent durability without adding unnecessary bulk to your firearm, making them ideal for hunters who value mobility. With a low-profile 5 mm height, they facilitate a comfortable cheek weld, which is crucial for rapid target acquisition and consistent shooting performance. While two-piece Weaver bases are often the most affordable mounting method, it is vital to acknowledge the complexity of their installation compared to one-piece Picatinny rails. Achieving perfect alignment across height, longitudinal, and horizontal axes is paramount to prevent stressing the scope tube, which could lead to inaccuracies or even damage. Therefore, for optimal performance and scope integrity, professional gunsmith installation is highly recommended to ensure a flawless setup. This mount is particularly well-suited for recreational shooters and budget-conscious hunters who aim for a simple yet effective optic attachment.
