Recknagel Two-Piece Weaver Base for Browning Mauser

1. High-Quality Aluminium Construction: These Weaver bases are precision-machined from robust black anodised aluminium, ensuring both lightweight handling and exceptional resistance to corrosion and wear. The durable finish helps to reduce glare and blend seamlessly with your firearm, providing a reliable foundation for your optics for years to come. Recknagel's commitment to quality ensures a product built to last.

2. Rifle-Specific Fit for Browning Mauser: Engineered for a perfect, contoured fit on Browning Mauser rifle receivers, these two-piece bases provide a secure and stable platform for attaching Weaver-compatible scope rings. This tailored design ensures optimal alignment and integration with your specific firearm, essential for consistent shooting performance. They offer a cost-effective solution for mounting an optical sight.

3. Economical Mounting Solution: Two-piece Weaver bases represent one of the most economical methods to mount a riflescope using Weaver rings. Their simple design contributes to a lightweight overall setup, appealing to hunters and sport shooters who prioritise reduced weight for easier field carry and a lower upfront investment for their optical mounting needs.

4. Crucial Installation Advice: While affordable, two-piece Weaver bases require precise installation to prevent scope flex and ensure accuracy. Correct alignment in height, longitudinal, and horizontal axes is paramount. We strongly recommend having these bases installed by a professional gunsmith to avoid common pitfalls associated with DIY installation, which can lead to poor accuracy or even damage to your valuable optic. For simpler, often DIY-friendly installation and greater flexibility, a one-piece Picatinny rail is generally recommended.

ABOUT THE Recknagel Two-Piece Weaver Base for Browning Mauser

The Recknagel Two-Piece Weaver Base for Browning Mauser offers a streamlined and cost-effective method to mount a telescopic sight on your rifle. Crafted from durable black anodised aluminium, these bases provide a robust yet lightweight platform, ideal for hunters and recreational shooters seeking a dependable mounting solution without excess bulk. Designed specifically for the Browning Mauser, their contoured fit ensures excellent integration with the rifle's receiver. While two-piece Weaver bases are celebrated for their affordability and minimalist profile, it is crucial to understand that their installation demands a high level of precision. Unlike one-piece Picatinny rails, achieving perfect alignment across all axes (height, longitudinal, and horizontal) is vital to prevent undue stress on your scope tube, which could compromise accuracy and potentially damage the optic. For optimal performance and to safeguard your equipment, professional installation by a skilled gunsmith is highly recommended to ensure flawless setup.
