Recknagel UNIVERSAL-Interface Aluminum Scope Ring, 57mm

• UNIVERSAL interface: The integrated top interface accepts compatible Picatinny rails and adapter plates, turning a simple scope ring into a compact mounting point for a red dot sight or other optical accessory.
• Free radial positioning: The interface can be oriented around the scope tube during installation, which helps place the accessory exactly where it clears turrets, objective bells and bolt handles.
• 57 mm objective fit: This ring is sized for large objective housings, giving a secure attachment point on scopes that cannot use a center-tube ring in the desired position.
• Aluminium construction: The low 50.00 g weight adds useful mounting capability without making the rifle noticeably front-heavy or upsetting the balance of the optic.
• Made in Germany: Recknagel builds this accessory for the same practical demands as its mounting systems, with a focus on precise fit, repeatable alignment and dependable field use.

About the Recknagel Accesories Series

Recknagel Accesories brings together practical add-on components for hunting and sporting firearms, with the UNIVERSAL interface rings aimed at shooters who need extra mounting space without replacing their main optic setup. A defining feature of this subfamily is that the ring can be clamped to a scope’s objective or center tube, while the interface position can be chosen during installation. That flexibility matters when a rifle already has limited rail space or when an accessory must sit at a specific angle for comfortable use.

Within Recknagel’s wider accessories range, these aluminum rings serve as a bridge between a conventional riflescope and modern add-ons such as Picatinny top rails and dedicated adapter plates. The concept is straightforward: keep the primary optic in place, then add a compact, secure mounting point exactly where it is needed. This makes the series especially relevant for rifles used with supplementary aiming devices or other compact optical accessories, where space saving, clean integration and solid attachment are more important than bulkier standalone mounting solutions.

About the Recknagel UNIVERSAL-Interface Aluminum Scope Ring, 57mm

The Recknagel UNIVERSAL-Interface Aluminum Scope Ring, 57mm is built for riflescopes with a large 57 mm objective housing, giving the user a stable attachment point for compatible top-mounted accessories. In practical terms, it solves a common mounting problem: many rifles leave little room on the receiver or rail once the main optic is installed, yet a compact red dot or other accessory still needs to be positioned where it remains easy to access and does not interfere with the scope’s controls.

The key to this model is the UNIVERSAL interface on top of the ring. Because the ring can be installed with the interface at the preferred radial position, the accessory can be aligned to suit the rifle and optic combination rather than forcing a fixed orientation. That helps when working around tall turrets, large eyepieces or bolt clearance. As part of a modular system, the ring is intended to work with compatible ERA-TAC Universal Interface components, allowing the rifle to be configured for different tasks without changing the main scope mount.

Its aluminium body keeps weight to 50.00 g, which is important on a hunting or sporting rifle where unnecessary mass on the optic can affect handling. The black finish keeps the appearance discreet and matches modern scope and mount setups well. For shooters who need a neat, space-efficient way to add an accessory above the scope, this ring offers a focused and mechanically simple solution.

About Recknagel

Recknagel is a German manufacturer of firearm and riflescope mounting systems, sights and hunting accessories. The company’s history began in 1867, when Adolf Recknagel started manufacturing firearm sights in Albrechts near Suhl, Thuringia. Over time, the range expanded to include scope mounts, Picatinny rails, triggers, safeties and other hunting-weapon components, giving the brand a strong connection to both traditional gunmaking and modern mounting technology.

A notable step in its recent development was the launch of the ERATAC line in 2010, which extended Recknagel’s expertise into tactical mounts and accessories. That background is directly relevant to products such as the UNIVERSAL interface ring, where precise machining, secure attachment and modular accessory mounting are central to the design. Recknagel remains closely associated with German-made mounting hardware for hunting and sporting firearms.
