RCBS Matchmaster Powder Funnel Adapter 6.5mm

• Caliber-Specific Fit: The 6.5mm adapter is shaped for a precise match with compatible case mouths, helping powder enter cleanly and reducing spills on the loading bench.
• MatchMaster System Compatibility: Built for the RCBS MatchMaster Powder Funnel, this adapter expands the funnel system for dedicated caliber use instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all opening.
• Cleaner Powder Flow: The adapter’s interior design supports smooth, controlled powder movement, which helps maintain a tidy workflow and reduces wasted propellant during handloading.
• Useful for Precision Reloading: A snug, repeatable fit makes it easier to charge cases consistently, which is especially valuable when assembling carefully tuned rifle ammunition.
• Compact Bench Accessory: As a small, dedicated reloading component, it adds caliber-specific function without taking up meaningful space in a loading setup.

About the MatchMaster Series

The RCBS MatchMaster series sits at the more precision-focused end of the company’s reloading lineup. It is built for handloaders who want greater control over each step of case preparation, powder charging and bullet seating, whether they are assembling match ammunition, refining hunting loads or simply aiming for cleaner, more repeatable bench work. Across the series, the emphasis is on precise fit, repeatable operation and practical features that reduce small inconsistencies during the loading process.

Within the MatchMaster family, RCBS applies that approach to tools and accessories that support accurate ammunition assembly rather than broad general-purpose use. Components such as caliber-specific adapters, precision dies and bench accessories are designed to work as part of a system, so the user can tailor the setup to a particular cartridge or task. The series is known for its attention to alignment, controlled material flow and durable construction, making it well suited to reloaders who value a more deliberate, organized process and want accessories that support consistency from one case to the next.

About the RCBS Matchmaster Powder Funnel Adapter 6.5mm

The RCBS Matchmaster Powder Funnel Adapter 6.5mm is a dedicated accessory for reloaders who want a cleaner, more controlled way to charge 6.5mm cases. Instead of relying on a generic funnel opening, this adapter is made to pair with the MatchMaster Powder Funnel and provide a closer fit at the case mouth. In practical use, that matters because a better fit helps guide powder directly into the case, reducing the chance of kernels bouncing out or collecting around the neck and shoulder.

That makes the adapter especially useful for reloaders working with carefully measured charges, where bench cleanliness and repeatability are part of the overall loading routine. A caliber-specific interface also helps speed up the charging process because the funnel seats more naturally over the case, with less repositioning between cases. For anyone loading 6.5mm cartridges in volume or building small batches of tuned ammunition, the result is a smoother workflow and less wasted powder.

As part of the broader MatchMaster system, this adapter is best understood as a precision bench accessory rather than a general reloading tool. Its value comes from doing one job properly: matching the funnel to the cartridge family so powder transfer is more consistent and less messy. For reloaders who already use the MatchMaster funnel platform, the 6.70 mm bullet-diameter format gives the setup a more cartridge-specific, purpose-built feel.

About RCBS

RCBS was founded in 1943 by Fred T. Huntington in Oroville, California. The company grew out of Huntington’s early bullet-swaging work, and the RCBS name came from Rock Chuck Bullet Swage, the original die that started the brand. From the beginning, RCBS focused on practical tools for shooters who wanted to build and refine their own ammunition.

Today, RCBS remains closely associated with ammunition handloading and reloading equipment for rifle and pistol cartridges. Its range includes presses, dies, shell holders, powder measures and priming tools, with products aimed at everyone from occasional reloaders to more methodical precision users. RCBS manufactures reloading tools in Oroville, California, and after its sale by Revelyst in 2024, it became a brand of Hodgdon Powder Company. That long specialization in reloading is what makes RCBS a natural fit for accessories such as the MatchMaster powder funnel system.
