The Picatinny framework marks a notable enhancement over the traditional Weaver standard. Additionally, the slots on a Weaver rail are slimmer, measuring 3.8 mm, which permits scope mounts made for Weaver rails to be used on a Picatinny rail. About the FAIR Combi

The FAIR Combi rifle is a combination gun featuring a rifled barrel at the bottom and a shotgun barrel at the top. It is equipped with double triggers, with the option for a Stecher double trigger. The rifle barrel is fired by the front trigger, while the rear trigger fires the shotgun barrel. The front trigger can be set to a lighter pull weight by pushing it forward. The safety lever is positioned on the rear end of the receiver, easily operated with a thumb. The shotgun barrel can be chambered for 12- or 20-gauge cartridges and is equipped with interchangeable chokes. A lever above the handle opens the gun when pushed to the right. The receiver features 12 mm flat top dovetail and three holes for mounting scopes.

Equipped with 10 slots and 3 mounting holes using 6-48 threading, the rail offers versatile mounting options for various optics. A unique central channel enhances functionality by allowing simultaneous use of the rifle's iron sights, serving as a reliable backup when no accessories are mounted. Secure attachment is achieved through 3 screws, ensuring stability and accuracy under recoil.

Mounting Instructions

Clean the rifle's receiver thoroughly with a cleaning fluid, such as acetone, to remove all stains, grease, and oil. Once the surface is clean and dry, verify that the screws fit both the rail and the receiver holes. Before mounting the rail, apply a minimal amount of thread-locking fluid (278 or 648) to the screws, avoiding any contact with the mounting holes. Carefully clean any excess fluid around the rail using the cleaning fluid. Using a torque driver, tighten the screws to the appropriate torque (up to 3 Nm/26.5 in-lbs).
