Nightforce X-Treme Duty Ultralite 30 mm Unimount

• One-piece Unimount design: Keeps both rings aligned in a single mount body, which simplifies installation on a Picatinny rail and helps maintain consistent scope positioning under recoil and hard field use.
• Titanium and alloy construction: Combines 7075-T6 hard-anodized aluminum with titanium crossbolts and jaws to reduce unnecessary weight while preserving the strength needed for serious precision and tactical rifle setups.
• 30 mm scope fit: Built specifically for 30 mm riflescope tubes, giving a secure interface for many popular precision and hunting optics without adding adapters or extra parts.
• X-Treme Duty mounting system: Developed as part of Nightforce’s most rugged ring and mount family, giving the shooter a stable platform that resists shift and helps the optic hold zero through transport, recoil, and repeated use.
• Made in USA: Machined in Nightforce’s Idaho factory, which supports the brand’s emphasis on tight machining control and dependable fit for demanding rifle applications.

About the Nightforce X-Treme Duty Series

The Nightforce X-Treme Duty series sits at the hard-use end of the company’s mounting lineup, built for shooters who want a mounting solution that matches the durability of premium riflescopes. In this family, Nightforce focuses on rigid construction, precise machining, and secure attachment to the rifle so that the optic remains stable when the rifle is carried, transported, or fired repeatedly. That makes the series relevant to precision shooting, practical field rifles, and tactical optics setups where mount integrity matters as much as the scope itself.

Within the range, the Ultralite versions stand out by pairing hard-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum with titanium crossbolts and jaws. This approach trims weight compared with heavier all-steel solutions while still keeping the strength expected from the X-Treme Duty name. The series is offered for 30 mm and 34 mm riflescope tubes, with multiple height options to suit different objective sizes and rifle configurations. Nightforce also offers both four-screw and six-screw Ultralite ring formats, giving shooters a choice between lighter configurations and increased clamping force for more demanding applications.

About the Nightforce X-Treme Duty Ultralite 30 mm Unimount

The Nightforce X-Treme Duty Ultralite 30 mm Unimount is a one-piece riflescope mount designed for shooters who want a lighter mounting solution without giving up the strength expected from a serious precision rifle accessory. Because it is built as a single integrated mount, ring alignment is controlled at the factory rather than left to separate ring placement on the rail. In practice, that can make installation more straightforward and helps create a stable, repeatable interface between a 30 mm scope tube and a Picatinny rail.

The material choice is central to this model. Nightforce machines the body from 7075-T6 hard-anodized aluminum and uses titanium crossbolts and jaws, balancing lower carried weight with the kind of structural security needed on rifles chambered for serious field or long-range work. That matters on rifles that may be carried over distance, where every saved ounce helps, but where the mount still has to resist movement and preserve zero.

As part of the X-Treme Duty family, this Unimount is well suited to rifles built around practical precision, tactical use, or robust hunting optics setups. It fits a wide range of rifles equipped with a Picatinny rail, including platforms such as the Accuracy International AX308, AXMC, and Heckler & Koch G36. The result is a mount that emphasizes clean scope installation, dependable clamping, and reduced weight in a format that complements high-quality 30 mm riflescopes.

About NightForce

Nightforce Optics began in 1992 when Lightforce USA entered the U.S. market under the Nightforce name. The company is headquartered in Orofino, Idaho, and focuses on riflescopes, spotting scopes, and related accessories for demanding shooting applications. Over time, Nightforce built its reputation around precise mechanical systems and careful optical assembly, including its practice of hand matching and aligning lenses through optical indexing.

The brand is especially well known in precision shooting for technologies such as ZeroStop, which allows elevation adjustments to return to a selected zero point. Its riflescope families include ATACR, NXS, NX8, SHV, Competition, and Precision Benchrest, covering roles from field use to dedicated long-range competition. That background is directly relevant to Nightforce mounts and accessories, which are designed to support the same emphasis on repeatability, durability, and exact fit as the company’s optics.
