Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch MP5, 91, 93, 94

• Self-illuminated tritium system: The Tru-Dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, giving a constant aiming reference when ambient light is poor.
• Three-dot alignment: A clear 3-dot layout helps the eye center the front and rear sight quickly, which supports faster sight acquisition at close to moderate distances.
• Steel construction: The all-steel body is suited to hard use on compatible Heckler & Koch platforms, helping the sights hold up to recoil, handling, and field conditions.
• Fixed sight setup: A fixed configuration keeps the system simple and robust, making it well suited to users who want a dependable zero with minimal controls or maintenance.
• Battery-free day and night use: The green tritium dots remain ready at all times, so the sight set works as a practical upgrade for defensive, duty, and general-purpose rifle use.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot sights are built around a simple idea: provide a consistent aiming reference that remains usable in daylight, low light, and darkness without relying on batteries. In Meprolight’s catalog, the series covers fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height configurations, showing that it is intended as a broad family for shooters who want a direct replacement for factory sights across different firearm platforms. The common thread is the familiar three-dot sight picture, designed to stay intuitive regardless of lighting conditions.

Across the series, tritium illumination is the defining technology. It gives the sights their always-on character, which is especially useful for defensive firearms, service weapons, and practical field use where there is no time to activate electronics. Selected models are offered with different dot color arrangements, while adjustable variants add windage and elevation correction and suppressor-height versions address taller sight requirements. As a family, Tru-Dot sights focus on durable metal construction, straightforward handling, and a sight picture that remains fast to read under stress, making them relevant for both civilian and professional users who prioritize reliability over complexity.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch MP5, 91, 93, 94

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch MP5, 91, 93, 94 is a dedicated night sight set for classic HK-pattern rifles and carbines where fast visual alignment matters as much in dim conditions as it does in daylight. Its defining feature is the self-illuminated green tritium system, which keeps the aiming dots visible without switches, batteries, or external charging. For users running an MP5 or the 91, 93, and 94 platforms in defensive, training, or professional roles, that means the sight picture remains available the moment the firearm is brought on target.

The 3-dot alignment is paired with a square rear sight, giving a familiar and easy-to-read arrangement that helps the eye pick up the front reference quickly. This kind of layout is practical on compact carbines and rifles that may be used at short to intermediate distances, where rapid sight confirmation is often more important than a highly specialized aiming pattern. Because the sight set is fixed, it avoids the extra complexity of adjustment controls and favors a durable, stable setup for users who want dependable function with minimal maintenance.

Its steel construction supports hard use, while the black finish keeps the overall appearance subdued and service-oriented. At 100.00 g, the sight set remains a compact upgrade that adds low-light capability without changing the handling character of the firearm. In practical terms, this model is aimed at shooters who want a robust HK-compatible iron sight solution that stays ready around the clock and preserves the simplicity of non-electronic sights.
