Meprolight Tru-Dot for Glock 10mm, 45 ACP-Green

• Self-illuminated tritium dots: The three-dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready for defensive use at any hour.
• Consistent 3-dot alignment: Matching green front and rear dots give the same visual reference in daylight and darkness, helping speed up sight acquisition under stress.
• Fixed steel construction: A steel sight body provides the durability needed for daily carry, duty use, and repeated holstering while keeping the setup simple and robust.
• Direct replacement format: Designed as a replacement handgun sight set for compatible Glock 10mm and .45 ACP pistols, it upgrades visibility without changing the pistol’s basic handling.
• Always-on operation: With no switches, electronics, or charging routine, the sight system reduces maintenance and keeps the aiming reference available around the clock.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot is the company’s established line of self-illuminated handgun night sights, built for shooters who want a simple iron-sight upgrade that works in both daylight and low-light conditions. The series includes fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height variants, covering everything from standard defensive pistols to specialized handgun setups. Across the range, the core idea stays the same: a three-dot sight picture that remains visually familiar as ambient light changes, so the shooter does not need to adapt to a different aiming reference after dark.

The Tru-Dot family is designed as a replacement for factory front and rear sights on compatible handguns, making it relevant for concealed carry, service pistols, and general-purpose range use. Tritium illumination is central to the series, providing a visible aiming reference without batteries or manual activation. Depending on the model, the line also offers different tritium dot color combinations and rear-sight configurations. That broad compatibility, combined with a durable metal build and a straightforward sight picture, makes the Tru-Dot series a practical choice for shooters who prioritize reliability, low-light usability, and uncomplicated operation.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Glock 10mm, 45 ACP-Green

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Glock 10mm, 45 ACP-Green is a fixed tritium night sight set made for shooters who want a dependable iron-sight upgrade on compatible Glock pistols chambered in 10mm and .45 ACP. Its main advantage is not complexity but consistency: the pistol presents the same 3-dot alignment in bright conditions, dim indoor light, and nighttime use. That familiar sight picture helps reduce hesitation when the light changes, which is especially useful on defensive handguns and working sidearms.

The all-green configuration keeps the visual reference simple and easy to interpret. With a square rear sight, the system supports clear front-sight centering and a conventional sight picture that many Glock users already know well. Because the sights are fixed, there are no external adjustment controls to snag or shift in hard use, which suits carry pistols and duty handguns where ruggedness matters more than on-the-fly tuning.

Steel construction adds the durability expected from a pistol sight that may see regular holster wear, recoil, and routine handling. As a direct replacement style handgun sight, this Tru-Dot model improves low-light visibility while preserving the straightforward handling of the host pistol. For users who rely on iron sights and want an always-available aiming reference, it offers a practical balance of toughness, simplicity, and round-the-clock usability.
