Meprolight Tru-Dot for Bersa BP

• Self-illuminated tritium system: The green three-dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready at any time.
• Fixed 3-dot alignment: A consistent front-and-rear dot layout helps speed up sight acquisition and keeps the aiming reference familiar in both daylight and darkness.
• Steel construction: The all-steel body gives the sight set the strength needed for daily carry, training, and repeated slide manipulation.
• Square rear sight: The rear notch design supports clear front-sight focus and straightforward alignment for defensive shooting distances.
• Model-specific fit for Bersa BP: Built as a dedicated replacement sight set, it offers a practical upgrade from standard sights while preserving a conventional handgun profile.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot is the company’s established line of self-illuminated handgun night sights, built for shooters who want a simple iron-sight system that works in daylight, low light, and full darkness. The series includes fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height versions, covering everything from standard carry pistols to more specialized handgun setups. Across the range, the core idea stays the same: a familiar three-dot sight picture that does not change as ambient light drops, so the shooter does not need to adapt to a different aiming reference at night.

Within Meprolight’s handgun catalog, the Tru-Dot family sits as a practical upgrade path for factory sights on many pistol platforms, including Bersa and other major handgun brands. Tritium illumination is central to the series, giving the sights a constant glow without switches or batteries. Depending on the model, the line also offers different adjustment styles and height configurations, but the shared emphasis is durability, direct replacement fit, and fast alignment under stress. That makes the series well suited to defensive handguns, duty pistols, and general-purpose carry guns where reliability and a clear sight picture matter more than complexity.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Bersa BP

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Bersa BP is a dedicated tritium night sight set for shooters who want to keep the handling of a conventional pistol while improving visibility when light is poor. Its fixed design favors consistency: once installed, the sight picture remains the same from daytime practice to low-light use, which is valuable on a defensive handgun where speed and familiarity matter. The green self-illuminated dots provide a visible aiming reference without electronics, making the pistol ready for use at any hour without relying on batteries or manual activation.

The sight set uses a 3-dot alignment with a square rear sight, a layout that supports quick front-sight pickup and intuitive left-right leveling. In practical terms, this helps the shooter index the pistol faster during close and intermediate defensive shooting. Because the sights are fixed, they suit users who prioritize a robust, low-maintenance setup over adjustable target-style hardware. The steel construction adds the durability expected from a carry or service-oriented sight set, helping it withstand holster wear, recoil, and regular handling. Finished in black, the set preserves a clean, duty-style appearance while the tritium elements handle the visibility work when ambient light fades. For a Bersa BP pistol, this model offers a straightforward upgrade focused on readiness, durability, and a sight picture that remains usable around the clock.
