ABOUT THE MEOSTAR R2 SERIES

The MeoStar R2 series represents Meopta’s premium line of hunting riflescopes. Designed for outstanding performance in twilight conditions, these scopes combine advanced lens coatings, robust mechanics, and illuminated reticles to support ethical shots in low-light scenarios.

ABOUT THE MODEL (MEOSTAR R2 2–12×50 RD)

This model strikes a strong balance between low-light visibility and mid- to long-range versatility. With a 50 mm objective and high light transmission, it excels during dawn, dusk, and cloudy days. The second focal plane 4C reticle with red-dot illumination helps ensure fast and precise shot placement when light is limited.

Though not ideal for driven hunts due to its 2× base magnification, it is particularly well-suited for stalking, high-seat hunting, and woodland use where brightness and precision matter most.
