MAKlick mount for Zeiss Compact Point

• Low-profile pivot design: The compact 4.00 mm build keeps the Zeiss Compact Point close to the bore, which supports a natural sight picture and helps preserve the rifle’s handling.
• Repeatable detachable mounting: As a MAKlick mount, it is built for removal and reinstallation with consistent positioning, making it practical for rifles that alternate between different sighting setups.
• Hardened steel construction: The steel body gives the mount the rigidity needed for dependable alignment and long service life under regular field use.
• Click-closing lever system: The MAKlick pivot connection uses a positive closing action that speeds up attachment while keeping the sight securely locked in place.
• Zeiss Compact Point interface: The mount is made specifically for the Zeiss Compact Point standard, providing a direct fit without improvised adapters that can add height or complexity.

About the MAKlick Series

MAKlick is MAK’s pivot-mount series for red-dot sights, developed for shooters who want a compact sight mounted securely while still retaining the option to remove it when needed. The series is built around a low-profile design and a pivot connection that is secured by a click-closing lever, giving it a mechanical layout focused on fast handling and repeatable positioning rather than bulk.

A defining characteristic of the series is its CNC-machined hardened steel construction. That approach favors rigidity and long-term durability, which matters on hunting and sporting rifles where a mount must hold alignment through repeated use. MAKlick models are intended for red-dot sights such as MAKdot, MAKdot S, Aimpoint and Docter Sight patterns, and the system also uses adapter options for different sight footprints. Another practical advantage is that the series is designed to work with pivot-mount front bases from different manufacturers, making it relevant for users who want to integrate a modern compact optic into an established rifle setup without changing the entire mounting system.

About the MAKlick mount for Zeiss Compact Point

The MAKlick mount for Zeiss Compact Point is a specialized detachable mount for shooters who want to fit a compact reflex sight to a rifle that already uses EAW type pivot bases or dovetail type pivot bases. Its role is straightforward: it provides the upper interface for the Zeiss Compact Point mounting standard while preserving the practical advantages of a pivot-mount system. That makes it well suited to hunting rifles and other setups where a small red-dot sight may be preferred for fast target acquisition at short to medium distances.

The mount’s 4.00 mm BH height is one of its key functional traits. By keeping the optic low, it helps maintain a more natural cheek weld and reduces the visual bulk of the sighting system. The result is a cleaner presentation that suits compact red-dot sights particularly well. Its steel construction also matters in practice: a rigid mount helps the sight stay aligned and withstand repeated installation cycles better than lighter, less robust designs intended for minimal-duty use.

Because this model belongs to the MAKlick family, it follows the same low-profile pivot concept with a secure closing action for quick handling in the field. For users building a streamlined red-dot setup around the Zeiss Compact Point footprint, this mount focuses on the essentials: a direct interface, a compact profile and a repeatable detachable design that integrates neatly with classic pivot-base rifle systems.
