MAKlassic Pivot upper parts, Heym SR 20, 26 mm

• Pivot-mount upper assembly: The MAKlassic upper parts are built for a classic pivot-mount setup, making it possible to remove and reinstall a riflescope while keeping a clean, low-profile rifle when the optic is off.
• 26 mm ring fit: Designed for 25.4 mm - 1" scope tubes, this version suits traditional hunting optics and keeps the scope properly supported without resorting to adapters.
• Adjustable windage: The Yes windage-adjustable design helps align the scope mechanically in the mount, which can preserve more internal adjustment in the optic for zeroing.
• Steel construction: A steel build favors rigidity and wear resistance in the locking surfaces, which matters on a pivot mount that is repeatedly opened, closed, and reinstalled.
• Low, straight setup: With 14.00 mm BH height, 27.00 mm H height, and 0 MOA inclination, this mount is aimed at a close-to-bore installation for conventional hunting rifles and standard zeroing distances.

About the MAKlassic Series

MAKlassic is MAK’s traditional line of two-piece pivot mounts, documented in the company’s catalogues by 2019. The series is built around the classic European idea of a detachable scope mount that lets the rifle carry and handle naturally, while still allowing the optic to be fitted securely when needed. That makes the range especially relevant for hunting rifles and break-action firearms where a low, elegant mounting solution is often preferred.

Within the series, MAK offers versions with rotating locks and lever locks, along with configurations for both scope tubes and optic rails. Different mount heights and front-foot offsets allow the system to be matched to the rifle and optic rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all layout. MAK also catalogues model-specific variants, so the MAKlassic family is not just a generic ring set but a platform tailored to particular firearms. In practice, the series appeals to shooters who want the familiarity of a pivot mount, the ability to remove an optic when required, and a mechanical design that stays close to the lines of the rifle.

About the MAKlassic Pivot upper parts, Heym SR 20, 26 mm

The MAKlassic Pivot upper parts, Heym SR 20, 26 mm are the upper half of a classic pivot-mount system for rifles using compatible pivot bases, configured here for 25.4 mm - 1" riflescope tubes. This makes the mount especially suitable for traditional hunting scopes, where a slim tube and moderate objective size are often chosen to keep the rifle balanced and easy to carry. As an upper assembly, it is intended for shooters who already use the corresponding pivot-base pattern and want a scope-holding solution matched to that system.

The practical character of this model comes from its steel construction, 0 MOA inclination, and adjustable windage. Steel is a sensible choice for a pivot mount because the contact points and locking surfaces are subject to repeated use over time; the material supports long-term dimensional stability and resistance to wear. The zero cant keeps the setup straightforward for standard sighting-in, especially on hunting rifles used at ordinary field distances rather than for dial-heavy long-range work. Windage adjustment in the mount is equally useful in practice, because it helps center the optic mechanically over the bore and can leave more of the riflescope’s internal adjustment range available for final zero.

Its 14.00 mm BH height and 27.00 mm overall H height point to a relatively low installation, which helps maintain a natural cheek weld and a tidy rifle profile. Finished in black, the mount suits conventional sporting rifles and blends visually with blued or coated actions and scopes.

About MAK

MAK is a German brand associated with Kilic Feintechnik GmbH in Schwebheim, Germany. The company develops and manufactures optical mounts, optics, and electronic products, serving civilian and government markets that include hunters, sports shooters, and professional users. This background is relevant to a product like the MAKlassic mount, because it places the brand firmly in the field of practical rifle integration rather than in optics alone.

Its product range includes the MAKuick quick-release mount line, MAKmilmont monoblock mounts for Picatinny rails, as well as MAKdot red-dot sights, MAKstorm prism sights, and MAKpro riflescopes. MAK also produces electronics such as the MAKcam for riflescopes and spotting scopes. Across these categories, the MAK Group identifies patented solutions and develops both standardized products and customized solutions for professional use, which supports its reputation for mechanically focused, application-specific design.
