MAKlassic 30 mm Front Pivot Feet

• 30 mm scope interface: Built for 30 mm scope tubes, this front pivot foot provides the correct fit for classic hunting optics and helps maintain stable alignment in a pivot-mount setup.
• Steel construction: The steel body is chosen for strength and wear resistance, which matters on a locking interface that is repeatedly mounted, removed, and reinstalled over time.
• 0 MOA geometry: With 0 MOA inclination, it keeps the optic in a neutral mounting position that suits general hunting and sporting use without adding built-in cant.
• Made for MAKlassic systems: As a dedicated MAKlassic spare part, it is intended to match the dimensions and function of the original pivot-mount system for consistent fit and operation.
• For dovetail-type pivot bases: Compatibility with dovetail type pivot bases makes it suitable for traditional pivot-mount configurations used on rifles and break-action firearms.

About the MAKlassic Series

MAKlassic is MAK’s traditional two-piece pivot-mount family for rifles and break-action firearms. Documented in MAK catalogues by 2019, the series is built around the classic pivot principle: the optic can be attached securely and removed when needed, while the mount architecture remains compact and mechanically straightforward. Within the MAK lineup, MAKlassic serves shooters who prefer a conventional steel pivot solution for hunting rifles and similar sporting firearms.

The series includes versions with rotating locks and lever locks, along with configurations for both scope tubes and optic rails. MAK also offers different mount heights and front-foot offsets, which allows the system to be adapted to specific rifle models and optic dimensions. In practical use, that model-specific approach matters because it helps preserve proper scope position, handling, and clearance without resorting to improvised fitment. The result is a mount family aimed at hunters and sports shooters who value a proven pivot format, repeatable installation, and rifle-specific configuration.

About the MAKlassic 30 mm Front Pivot Feet

The MAKlassic 30 mm Front Pivot Feet is a dedicated front component for a MAKlassic pivot mount, intended for optics with a 30 mm tube. In a pivot-mount system, the front foot is a critical interface part: it locates the front of the scope assembly in the base and helps the mount return to the same mechanical position each time it is engaged. That makes this part especially relevant when restoring, replacing, or completing a traditional hunting-optics setup built around MAK’s classic pivot design.

The use of steel is important here because the front foot is a load-bearing contact point that sees repeated locking and unlocking cycles. A steel part resists deformation and surface wear better in this role, which supports long-term consistency in fit. The 0 MOA inclination keeps the mounting geometry neutral, making it appropriate for standard sighting setups where added cant is unnecessary. Because the part is designed for dovetail type pivot bases, it suits established European-style pivot-mount arrangements commonly chosen for hunting rifles and break-action firearms. As a model-specific spare part rather than a universal adapter, its value lies in preserving the original function, fit, and handling characteristics of the MAKlassic system.
