MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for Original Steyr, 26 mm

• One-piece pivot design: Keeps both rings aligned in a single unit, which helps maintain consistent scope positioning and simplifies installation on rifles already set up for the original Steyr pivot system.
• Built for original Steyr pivot interfaces: This version is made to fit Steyr Original Pivot Scope Mounts, giving owners of compatible rifles a direct mounting solution without changing the rifle’s existing base arrangement.
• 26 mm ring format: The mount is configured for 26 mm scope tubes, making it a practical choice for classic hunting optics that use this less common tube diameter.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight under control while still providing the rigidity needed for repeatable optic support in regular field use.
• German-made MAK engineering: Manufactured in Germany, this mount reflects MAK’s focus on precise fit, clean mechanical function, and dependable use with sporting and professional rifle setups.

About the MAKflex Series

MAKflex is MAK’s pivot bridge mounting series for rifles and break-action firearms, designed for shooters who want the traditional handling advantages of a pivot mount with a more modular configuration. The series is built around the idea that the same basic mounting concept can be adapted to different rifles, optic tube diameters, and sight interfaces without changing the overall operating principle.

Within the range, MAKflex is offered in several configurations, including versions for Picatinny, Zeiss, Swarovski, and Aimpoint Micro interfaces, as well as different pivot-foot options. MAK also offers a MAKflex Short variant for applications where a more compact bridge layout is preferred. Depending on the model, the series can use either a rotating lock or a lever lock, allowing the mount to be matched to the rifle and the user’s preferred handling style. That combination of modularity and classic pivot-mount function makes the series especially relevant for hunting rifles and other firearms where secure optic placement, clean rifle lines, and repeatable removal and refitting matter.

About the MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for Original Steyr, 26 mm

The MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for Original Steyr, 26 mm is a dedicated mounting solution for rifles that use original Steyr pivot scope mounts. Its purpose is straightforward: provide a clean, properly matched bridge mount for a 26 mm scope tube without forcing the user to move away from the rifle’s existing pivot-mount architecture. That makes it especially relevant for classic hunting rifles and traditional optic setups where preserving the correct mounting interface is just as important as securing the scope itself.

The one-piece construction helps keep the ring relationship fixed, which is useful when consistent alignment and stable scope support are priorities. In practical terms, this can simplify mounting compared with separate ring assemblies and helps create a tidy, integrated fit on the rifle. The use of aluminium keeps the mount lighter than a comparable steel design, which is valuable on a hunting rifle carried over long distances, while still offering the stiffness needed for dependable optic support.

This version also uses a KR 0.0 mm extension, making it suitable where a neutral fore-and-aft ring position is preferred within the Steyr-compatible layout. Because it is purpose-built around the original Steyr pivot standard and a 26 mm tube format, it is best suited to shooters pairing a compatible rifle with a traditional European-style scope and wanting a mount that matches that setup mechanically and visually.
