MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for Merkel, 34 mm

• One-piece pivot design: The single-piece bridge keeps both rings aligned as one unit, helping maintain a consistent scope position and dependable return to the rifle after repeated removal and refitting.
• Built for Merkel pivot systems: This mount is made specifically for the Merkel Pivot System, giving a correct mechanical interface for break-action and hunting rifles that rely on a traditional pivot-style mounting solution.
• 34 mm scope compatibility: The 34 mm ring size supports modern riflescopes with larger main tubes, making it suitable for optics that need greater internal adjustment range and robust mounting support.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight under control while still providing the rigidity needed for a secure optic-to-rifle connection in regular field use.
• Made in Germany: German manufacture reflects MAK’s focus on precise machining and repeatable fit, which matters when a mount must lock up cleanly and preserve zero over time.

About the MAKflex Series

MAKflex is MAK’s modular pivot bridge mount family for rifles and break-action firearms. The series is built around the idea that a traditional pivot mount can still offer flexibility for modern optics, with versions made for Merkel mounts, EAW base plates, Leupold Quick Release bases, and original Steyr mounting interfaces. That broad compatibility makes the line relevant to hunters who use factory-prepared rifles as well as those working with established European mounting standards.

A defining characteristic of the series is its modular configuration. Depending on the version, MAKflex can be set up for different ring diameters and optic interfaces, including Picatinny, Zeiss, Swarovski, and Aimpoint Micro footprints. The range also includes the MAKflex Short for more compact setups, and the system is offered with either a rotating lock or a lever lock depending on the intended handling style. In practice, the series is aimed at shooters who want the clean profile and repeatable attachment of a pivot mount without giving up compatibility with current optic formats.

About the MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for Merkel, 34 mm

The MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for Merkel, 34 mm is designed for shooters who want to pair a modern 34 mm riflescope with a rifle using the Merkel Pivot System. Its one-piece bridge layout gives the mount a unified structure, which helps keep ring alignment consistent and simplifies the relationship between the optic and the rifle. For hunting rifles and break-action platforms, that matters because repeatable positioning is a key part of maintaining confidence in zero after the scope has been removed and reattached.

The 34 mm ring format makes this version especially relevant for larger contemporary hunting optics and tactical-style scopes, which often use 34 mm main tubes to provide more internal adjustment travel and a stronger tube body. By matching that tube size directly, the mount supports a secure fit without forcing compromises in optic choice. The stated KR 0.0 mm extension keeps the setup neutral in its fore-and-aft geometry, which suits rifles and scopes that already align well without additional offset.

Its aluminium construction balances rigidity with manageable weight, so the rifle does not gain unnecessary bulk while still benefiting from a stable mounting platform. Combined with German manufacture, the result is a mount intended for practical field use: precise fit, straightforward handling, and a traditional pivot-mount format adapted to current 34 mm scope requirements.

About MAK

MAK is a German brand associated with Kilic Feintechnik GmbH in Schwebheim, Germany. The company develops and manufactures mounts, optics, and electronic products for civilian and government markets, serving hunters, sports shooters, and professional users. That broad product focus is important in the mounting category because it shows that MAK works not only on the interface between rifle and optic, but also on the optics and accessories that depend on that interface.

The MAK Group’s portfolio includes lines such as MAKuick quick-release mounts, MAKmilmont monoblock mounts for Picatinny rails, MAKdot red-dot sights, MAKstorm prism sights, and MAKpro riflescopes. It also produces electronic accessories such as the MAKcam. Across these categories, MAK identifies patented solutions among its mounts, optics, and electronics, reflecting a design approach centered on practical mechanical function and application-specific configurations.
