Konus Vivisport-2 16x32

• 16x compact format: This binocular delivers unusually high magnification in a pocket-sized body, making it useful when distant details matter but full-size binoculars would be cumbersome to carry.
• Roof prism design: The Schmidt/Pechan roof prism layout keeps the shape slim and easy to pack, while also giving the binocular a straight, modern form that handles well in the field.
• Multicoated optics: Multicoated lenses help preserve contrast and brightness, which is especially important in a compact 32 mm binocular working at 16x magnification.
• Central focusing system: A central focus wheel allows quick adjustment with minimal hand movement, which is practical when switching between subjects at different distances.
• Rubber-armored waterproof body: The rubber exterior improves grip, while waterproof and fogproof construction adds confidence for outdoor use in damp weather and changing temperatures.

About the Konus Vivisport-2 Series

The Konus Vivisport-2 series sits in the brand’s compact binocular range and is built around a simple idea: giving users more reach than is typical in pocket-format optics. While many compact binoculars stay in the 8x to 10x class, the Vivisport-2 line is designed for people who want a smaller binocular without giving up the ability to inspect more distant subjects. That makes the series relevant for general outdoor observation, travel, casual hunting use, and situations where portability matters as much as magnification.

Across the series, the emphasis is on slim roof-prism construction, central focusing, and an ergonomic rubber-armored body that is easy to carry and secure in the hand. The optical design uses treated lenses to support usable contrast in a very compact housing, while the straightforward mechanical layout keeps operation familiar and uncomplicated. In practical terms, the Vivisport-2 family is aimed at users who want a binocular that slips easily into a bag or jacket pocket yet still offers enough power to study distant landmarks, wildlife, or targets more closely than most compact models allow.

About the Konus Vivisport-2 16x32

The Konus Vivisport-2 16x32 stands out because it combines 16x magnification with a body that remains genuinely compact. That specification gives it a different role from many small binoculars: instead of serving mainly as a casual wide-view companion, it is better suited to pulling distant objects closer when detail matters more than panoramic viewing. For observation from a fixed position, overlooking open ground, or carrying a lightweight binocular on trips where space is limited, this model offers a practical balance between reach and portability.

Its 32.00 mm objective lenses and multicoated optics are paired to maintain a clear, contrast-rich image within the limits of a compact high-magnification format. The 82.00 m/1000m field of view is naturally more focused than that of lower-power compact binoculars, but the trade-off is greater image scale on distant subjects. A 2.60 mm exit pupil supports daytime use well, especially in bright outdoor conditions where this binocular is most at home.

The handling is equally straightforward. The central focusing system allows quick adjustment, while the single-hinge roof-prism body keeps the binocular slim and easy to pack. Rubber armoring improves grip and everyday durability, and the waterproof, fogproof construction makes the Vivisport-2 16x32 a sensible choice for outdoor use where weather can change during the day. Altogether, it is a compact binocular designed for users who prioritize magnification and easy carry over the wider view of lower-power models.

About Konus

Konus was founded in 1979 in Verona, Italy, and the company has long focused on optics for hunting and target shooting. Its range extends across riflescopes and outdoor observation products, which gives the brand experience in both field use and shooting-related optical design. Konus has built its catalog around practical products that cover sporting, hunting, and general outdoor applications rather than a single narrow niche.

Today, Konus Italia Group S.p.A. is based in Settimo di Pescantina, Italy. Alongside binoculars and other outdoor optics, the company is also known for riflescope families such as the Konuspro M-30 and T-30. This background is relevant here because it reflects a broader specialization in durable sporting optics with straightforward operation and field-oriented design.
