Holosun AEMS EVO

• Large viewing window: The enlarged sight window gives a more open sight picture, helping the shooter pick up the reticle faster and track targets more naturally during rapid transitions.
• Multi-Reticle System: The selectable 2 MOA dot, 65 MOA ring, or combined circle-dot lets the sight adapt to precise aiming, fast close-range work, or a balance of both.
• Automatic brightness control: A forward-facing light sensor adjusts reticle intensity to changing light, reducing the need for manual input when moving between bright and shaded environments.
• Long battery runtime: With up to 100000 h on a CR2032 battery, the sight is suited to rifles that stay ready for extended periods with minimal battery management.
• Enclosed aluminum housing: The sealed aluminium body protects the emitter from rain, debris, and impact, while waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction supports dependable field use.

About the Holosun AEMS Series

Holosun introduced the AEMS Series in 2021 as a family of enclosed rifle sights built around a broad viewing area in a compact format. Within Holosun’s current rifle-sight lineup, the series includes AEMS-EVO, AEMS-PRO-X2, and AEMS-CORE-X2 models, while the original AEMS and AEMS Core versions are now discontinued. The series is aimed at shooters who want the speed of a reflex-style sight with the added protection of an enclosed design for hard outdoor use.

AEMS optics are defined by a roomy sight picture, compact proportions, and Holosun’s familiar electronic features. Depending on the model, the family is offered with red, green, and gold reticles, and the original AEMS pattern established the use of a 2 MOA dot, a 65 MOA circle, or both together. That layout gives the series broad appeal for general-purpose carbines, hunting optics setups, and tactical optics roles where fast acquisition matters but the optic also needs to stay protected from weather and debris. Across the range, the AEMS concept focuses on practical speed, compact mounting, and a more sheltered emitter system than open rifle dots.

About the Holosun AEMS EVO

The Holosun AEMS EVO is a 1x enclosed reflex sight designed for shooters who want a fast, durable aiming solution with a larger sight picture than many compact rifle dots. Its defining feature is the enlarged viewing window, which makes the optic feel more open and less restrictive when shooting on the move, working around cover, or transitioning between multiple targets. That wider visual presentation is especially useful on modern carbines where speed and awareness matter as much as fine aiming precision.

The sight uses Holosun’s Multi-Reticle System with a 2 MOA dot and 65 MOA ring. In practice, the small central dot supports more precise shot placement, while the ring helps the eye center the reticle quickly at short distance. Because illumination is daytime-visible and brightness adjustment is automatic, the reticle remains easy to pick up in changing light without constant manual correction. The parallax-free design also helps keep the sight intuitive at speed, especially in unconventional shooting positions.

Mechanically, the AEMS EVO combines a compact footprint with a robust aluminium housing, 50 MOA of windage and elevation adjustment, and 1/2 MOA click values for straightforward zeroing. Waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction supports use in poor weather and rough handling, while the side-powered CR2032 system and 100000 h battery life reduce maintenance demands. At 230.00 g and 68.00 mm in length, it remains compact enough for general-purpose rifle builds without giving up the advantages of an enclosed emitter design.

About Holosun

Holosun says it has worked on optics and laser and infrared technologies since 2013, with its history identifying the 403 Series as the starting product line in 2015. The company is headquartered in California and develops sights, lasers, and illumination systems for shooting, hunting, law enforcement, and military use, supported by a global manufacturing network. Its product development has expanded steadily across both rifle and pistol categories, including the 510C in 2016 and the 507C and 508T pistol sight series in 2017.

Holosun is particularly known for practical electronic sight features such as Shake Awake, Solar Failsafe, and the Multi-Reticle System, along with its Super Green LED technology introduced in 2018. That combination of enclosed and open sights, laser systems, and power-management features has made the brand a well-established name in modern red dot and reflex sight design.
