Hawke Endurance ED 10x50 Product description

  • 50mm Objective Lens for Maximum Low-Light Performance: The 50mm objective lens delivers an exit pupil of 5mm at 10× — larger than the 4.2mm of the 10×42 model — providing a meaningfully brighter image in the reduced-light conditions of early morning and late evening that are most productive for hunting. The 50mm format is the traditional choice for dedicated low-light hunting binoculars where maximum light gathering is the primary requirement.
  • Extra-Low Dispersion Glass with Phase Corrected BAK-4 Roof Prisms: The Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass reduces chromatic aberration and colour fringing on high-contrast subjects at 10× magnification. The phase corrected BAK-4 roof prisms and fully multi-coated lenses maintain resolution and contrast across the full aperture, delivering a clear, well-resolved image across all lighting conditions encountered during field use.
  • 10× Magnification for Extended-Range Identification: The 10× magnification provides the image scale needed for identifying game, trophy quality, and wildlife details at the extended distances where a 50mm objective is most useful. The field of view of 105 metres at 1,000 metres and apparent field of view of 60° remain practical for hunting use despite the higher power and larger objective combination.
  • 17mm Eye Relief for Comfortable Use with Eyeglasses: The 17mm of eye relief — longer than the 15mm of the 10×42 model — provides comfortable clearance for eyeglass wearers at 10× magnification. The twist-up eyecups with position stops offer defined click positions for consistent eye positioning during extended observation sessions.
  • Waterproof and Fogproof with Tripod Thread: The body is nitrogen purged, waterproof, and fogproof, with a high-grip rubber-coated exterior. A built-in ¼"-20 UNC tripod mounting thread enables tripod use — particularly relevant for a 10×50 where the weight and higher magnification both benefit from fixed support during extended stationary glassing. Stay-on objective lens covers remain attached during use.

About the Endurance ED Binocular Series

The Endurance ED series is Hawke's mid-tier binocular range, built on the H5 optical system and positioned between the entry-level Nature-Trek and Vantage series and the flagship Frontier ED X above it. The series is designed for hunters, birders, and nature observers who want Extra-Low Dispersion glass and phase-corrected prisms in a practical, field-ready package at an accessible price point.

All Endurance ED models feature ED glass, phase corrected BAK-4 roof prisms, fully multi-coated lenses, nitrogen purging, waterproof and fogproof sealing, twist-up eyecups with position stops, stay-on lens covers, and a built-in ¼"-20 UNC tripod mounting thread. The series spans 8×32, 10×32, 8×42, 10×42, 10×50, and 12×50 configurations. The 10×50 is the largest-objective configuration in the range, providing the highest light-gathering capability and the most suited configuration for dedicated low-light hunting use.

About the Model (Hawke Endurance ED 10x50 — Green)

The Hawke Endurance ED 10x50 is the highest light-gathering model in the Endurance ED binocular range, designed for hunters who prioritise performance in low-light conditions during the early morning and late evening periods when game is most active. The 50mm objective lens at 10× magnification delivers an exit pupil of 5mm — the largest in the Endurance ED lineup — supporting a bright, accessible image in variable and reduced ambient light. The field of view of 105 metres at 1,000 metres and apparent field of view of 60° provide a practical scanning and observation capability at the distances where 10×50 binoculars are most commonly used.

The ED glass lens elements reduce chromatic aberration and colour fringing at 10×, while the phase corrected BAK-4 roof prisms and fully multi-coated lenses maintain resolution and contrast throughout the field. The close focus distance of 2.5 metres allows close-range identification when needed in the field. The 17mm of eye relief and twist-up eyecups with position stops accommodate both bare-eyed and eyeglass-wearing users comfortably.

The body is nitrogen purged, waterproof, and fogproof with a high-grip rubber exterior. A built-in ¼"-20 UNC tripod mounting thread supports use on a tripod or binocular mount. Stay-on objective lens covers remain attached during use. Weight is 805 g and dimensions are 120–135 mm wide × 167 mm high.
