Element Optics Seeker Product description

FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Weapon-Mounted Laser Rangefinder: Measures distances from 5 to 3000 metres without requiring the shooter to switch to a separate handheld rangefinder, allowing ranging information to be obtained directly from the rifle-mounted system.
  • Integrated Ballistic Calculator: The Element Optics Ballistic Chip processes target distance, environmental measurements, and ballistic profile information to provide calculated shooting corrections for different distances and conditions.
  • Built-In Environmental Sensors: An integrated barometer, thermometer, hygrometer, inclinometer, and compass provide relevant atmospheric and positional information for ballistic calculations without requiring separate measuring instruments.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity and Smartphone Integration: Wireless communication with the Element Ballistics App allows ballistic profile management and integration with compatible external devices, including supported Kestrel equipment.
  • Compact, Weather-Resistant Construction: The IPX6-rated housing, quick-connect mounting system, and battery life of more than 6000 measurements make the Seeker suitable for regular outdoor use in demanding shooting environments.

ABOUT THE ELEMENT OPTICS RANGEFINDER SERIES

The Element Optics rangefinder series consists of electronic distance-measuring devices developed for hunters, recreational shooters, and precision shooting enthusiasts. The range includes handheld laser rangefinders, compact ranging modules, and weapon-mounted systems, allowing users to choose a configuration suited to their shooting equipment and preferred method of operation.

A defining characteristic of the range is its emphasis on distance measurement combined with ballistic information. Selected models incorporate the Element Optics Ballistic Chip, which processes ranging information alongside ballistic profiles and environmental measurements. This allows compatible devices to provide calculated aiming corrections rather than distance readings alone.

Different products within the range offer features such as Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone integration, environmental sensors, and external device compatibility. These functions help users organize ballistic information and adapt their equipment to different shooting configurations.

Element Optics also emphasizes practical field operation. Depending on the model, its rangefinders incorporate accessible controls, compact housings, dedicated mounting systems, and weather-resistant construction intended for regular outdoor use.

The availability of handheld and weapon-mounted configurations allows users to select between independent observation equipment and ranging systems integrated directly with their rifle.

Through its combination of laser ranging technology, ballistic calculations, and electronic connectivity, the Element Optics rangefinder family provides equipment for users who require accurate distance information and practical ballistic assistance across different shooting applications.

ABOUT THE ELEMENT OPTICS SEEKER

The Element Optics Seeker is a weapon-mounted laser rangefinder (WMLRF) incorporating an integrated ballistic calculator, environmental sensors, and Bluetooth connectivity. Developed for precision shooting applications, it allows users to measure target distances and obtain calculated ballistic corrections without relying on a separate handheld rangefinder.

The Seeker provides a laser ranging capability from 5 to 3000 metres, covering a wide range of target distances. Unlike conventional handheld devices, it is designed to remain attached to the rifle and can be aligned with the riflescope. This allows the user to obtain ranging information while maintaining the established shooting position.

At the centre of the electronic system is the Element Optics Ballistic Chip. This integrated processor uses measured target distance, environmental information, and stored ballistic profiles to calculate corrections for the selected shooting configuration. The device supports four ballistic profiles, allowing users to maintain different sets of ballistic data for different ammunition or rifle configurations.

The Seeker incorporates an extensive range of environmental sensors, including a barometer, thermometer, hygrometer, inclinometer, and compass. These components measure atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity, inclination, and orientation. The information contributes to the ballistic calculation process, helping the device account for relevant shooting conditions. The system also supports wind data input for ballistic calculations.

Bluetooth connectivity allows communication with the Element Ballistics App and compatible external equipment. The smartphone application provides an interface for managing ballistic profiles and supported settings, while Kestrel integration allows compatible devices to contribute additional environmental and ballistic information.

For convenient operation, the Seeker includes a remote connector that supports a compatible cable remote. This allows the ranging system to be operated from an alternative control position when integrated into a suitable rifle configuration.

The device features a quick-connect mounting system intended to simplify attachment to compatible mounting interfaces. The rangefinder can be aligned with the riflescope, making it possible to associate the ranging system with the optic's aiming direction. Its laser lens measures 32 x 26 mm, while the device has overall dimensions of 118 x 72 x 50 mm.

Power is supplied by a CR123 battery, with the manufacturer specifying more than 6000 ranging operations per battery under its stated operating conditions. This provides extended operational capability without requiring frequent battery replacement.

The Seeker features an IPX6 water-resistance rating, providing protection against powerful water jets and supporting use in wet outdoor conditions. The durable housing is designed to withstand the demands of regular handling and field operation.

With its combination of long-distance ranging, integrated ballistic processing, environmental measurements, and connected-device support, the Element Optics Seeker offers a practical solution for shooters who want to integrate range measurement and ballistic information directly into their rifle-mounted equipment.
