DAA Ballistic Range Bag

• Cordura outer construction: The tough fabric shell stands up well to regular transport, helping protect match gear and a handgun from abrasion, knocks and the general wear of range use.
• Spacious interior: With 460.00 mm inner length, 260.00 mm inner width and 220.00 mm inner height, the bag gives useful room for pistols, magazines, ammunition and support equipment in one organized carry solution.
• Three external pockets: The added storage keeps smaller essentials separate from the main compartment, so tools, hearing protection or accessories are easier to reach without unpacking the whole bag.
• Multiple carry options: A handle and shoulder strap make it easier to move a fully loaded bag between vehicle, bench and firing line, depending on how much gear is being carried.
• Waterproof and shockproof build: The protective construction helps shield contents from wet conditions and impact during transport, which is especially useful for sensitive shooting equipment and accessories.

About the Ballistic Series

The Ballistic series from Double Alpha Academy is built around the needs of practical shooting competitors and regular range users who carry more than just a pistol. In this part of the company’s lineup, the focus is on durable transport gear that keeps equipment protected, portable and easy to organize on match day or during training. Rather than aiming for a minimal soft case, the Ballistic concept is centered on a more substantial range bag format that can handle ammunition, magazines, maintenance items and personal gear alongside a handgun.

What distinguishes the series is its emphasis on robust materials, field-ready handling and layouts that suit the stop-and-go rhythm of competition shooting. The bags are intended for shooters who move between car, registration area, safe table and firing line, so practical features such as carry handles, shoulder straps and external pockets matter as much as raw storage volume. In use, the series sits naturally within the world of IPSC, USPSA and general range equipment, where dependable organization and protection are often more important than compact size alone.

About the DAA Ballistic Range Bag

The DAA Ballistic Range Bag is a dedicated range bag for shooters who need one piece of luggage for both gear transportation and handgun transportation. Its overall dimensions of 560.00 mm length, 320.00 mm width and 325.00 mm height give it a substantial footprint, while the internal dimensions provide enough usable volume for a practical loadout rather than just a pistol and a few magazines. That makes it well suited to training sessions, club matches and competition days where ammunition, maintenance items and protective equipment all need to travel together.

The Cordura outer material is an important part of the design because a range bag is repeatedly placed on concrete benches, gravel, vehicle floors and wet ground. Combined with the bag’s waterproof and shockproof construction, it helps protect the contents during transport and routine handling. The zipper closure keeps the main compartment secure, while the three pockets make it easier to separate smaller accessories from the main load so frequently used items stay accessible.

At 3400.00 g, this is a substantial bag intended to carry meaningful weight without feeling flimsy. The combination of a carry handle and shoulder strap gives flexibility when moving through a range environment, whether the bag is lifted in and out of a vehicle or carried farther between stages and benches. Overall, the design favors protection, capacity and practical organization over minimal bulk, which is exactly what many handgun shooters want from a serious range bag.
