Caldwell Replacement Backers, 2-pack

• Replacement backers for the Ultimate Target Stand: Keeps a Caldwell target stand in service without replacing the whole setup, which is practical for frequent range use and routine backer wear.
• 2-pack format: Provides a spare backer ready to go, reducing interruptions during training sessions or sight-in work when one panel is shot out.
• All-weather, moisture-resistant construction: Holds up better in damp outdoor range conditions, so the backers remain usable through changing weather and repeated setup.
• Includes replacement splines: Lets the backers be fitted directly to the stand with the needed retaining parts, making replacement quicker and more straightforward.
• Lightweight plastic build: Easy to carry with other range equipment and simple to handle when changing targets between shooting strings.

About the Caldwell Accessories Series

Caldwell Accessories covers the practical support items that keep a range setup working smoothly, from replacement parts to add-on components for target systems and shooting equipment. Within the Caldwell catalog, this series sits alongside the brand's better-known rests, chronographs, hearing protection and targets, and focuses on the smaller items that matter once equipment is in regular use. The emphasis is on straightforward function, easy compatibility with Caldwell products and materials chosen for repeated outdoor handling.

For target and range use, the series is built around the idea that consumable or wear-prone parts should be simple to replace rather than forcing a complete system change. That makes Caldwell Accessories especially relevant for shooters who train often, maintain private range equipment or want to keep a portable target setup ready for repeated sessions. The design approach is generally simple and durable, with parts intended to restore original function, preserve portability and reduce downtime at the range.

About the Caldwell Replacement Backers, 2-pack

The Caldwell Replacement Backers, 2-pack is a purpose-built accessory for the Ultimate Target Stand, intended to restore a used stand to working condition after the original backers have been worn out by repeated shooting. Rather than replacing the full stand, this set lets the user renew the part that takes the most abuse, which is a more practical solution for regular range sessions, sight-in work and general target practice.

The backers are made from durable all-weather, moisture-resistant material, an important detail for outdoor use where damp ground, light rain or changing weather can shorten the life of ordinary backing surfaces. That construction helps the panels remain serviceable across multiple trips to the range and supports more consistent target mounting in field conditions. The white finish also works well as a neutral backing color, helping paper targets remain clearly visible.

Because this is a 2-pack, one backer can be fitted immediately while the second is kept in reserve, which is useful for shooters who go through backers quickly or want spare parts on hand. Caldwell also includes replacement splines, so the package supports a direct swap with the original stand components and minimizes setup delays. For range users who already rely on Caldwell target systems, this accessory is a simple way to extend service life and keep equipment ready for the next session.

About Caldwell

Caldwell is a shooting-supplies brand focused on equipment for shooting ranges and firearms use. Its catalog covers a broad spread of support gear, including electronic hearing protection, shooting rests, targets and ballistic chronographs, which places the brand firmly in the practical side of range and field equipment. Caldwell is also known for product families such as the Lead Sled shooting rests and the E-Max hearing protection line, alongside steel targets, target-launching equipment and magazine loaders.

The brand became part of the Battenfeld Technologies portfolio that was included in Smith & Wesson's December 2014 acquisition. In the shooting accessories category, Caldwell has built its reputation around functional designs that support setup, training and maintenance tasks rather than the firearm itself, making it a familiar name for shooters who need dependable range equipment and replacement parts.
