Cadwell XLA 6-9" Bipod - Pivot ARCA/Pic

• 6-9 inch working height: This low-profile range is well suited to prone shooting and bench work, giving the rifle a stable front support without forcing an awkward shooting position.
• Pivoting 2-way adjustable head: The bipod can cant to level the rifle on uneven ground, which helps keep the reticle upright and reduces the need to fight the terrain while building a shooting position.
• Push-button, notched leg deployment: Spring-assisted legs extend quickly and lock into repeatable height positions, so setup is faster and easier when moving between firing points or changing terrain.
• Aluminium construction: The metal body keeps weight to 500.00 g, adding useful support and durability without making the rifle unnecessarily heavy to carry.
• Rubber feet and forward-folding legs: The feet improve grip on hard surfaces, while the legs fold forward for easier transport and a cleaner profile when the bipod stays mounted on the rifle.

About the XLA Series

Caldwell XLA bipods are built as practical rifle supports for shooters who want a straightforward, field-ready design for range use, hunting rifles, and general tactical shooting setups. In Caldwell’s lineup, the XLA series sits as a lightweight aluminium bipod family that focuses on fast deployment, stable support, and simple operation rather than heavy competition-style bulk. That makes it a sensible fit for rifles that need a mounted bipod for prone or bench shooting without becoming cumbersome in transport.

Across the range, XLA bipods are known for their spring-assisted legs, notched height settings, and compact folding layout. Pivot models add cant adjustment for uneven ground, which is especially useful when shooting outdoors from improvised positions. The series is offered in several height classes to cover low prone work through taller seated or kneeling use, and modern mounting variants broaden compatibility with current rifle forends and chassis systems. The overall design philosophy is simple: quick setup, repeatable leg positioning, and enough stability for real field use while keeping weight manageable.

About the Cadwell XLA 6-9" Bipod - Pivot ARCA/Pic

The Cadwell XLA 6-9" Bipod - Pivot ARCA/Pic is configured for shooters who want a compact bipod for prone and bench shooting with mounting flexibility for modern rifle platforms. Its 6-9 inch height range keeps the rifle low and stable, which is useful for precision work from the bench, zeroing, varmint shooting, or supported field positions where a taller bipod would add unnecessary movement. Because the legs use a two-section design with notched extension points, height changes are easy to repeat and quick to set under pressure.

The pivoting head is one of the model’s most useful features in practice. With 2-way adjustable movement and cant capability, the bipod helps level the rifle on sloped or uneven ground, so the shooter can maintain a more natural position behind the stock. The aluminium body keeps the unit to 500.00 g, which is light enough for a rifle that will be carried regularly, while still giving the support expected from a mounted bipod. Rubber feet improve purchase on benches, concrete, and other hard surfaces, and the forward-folding leg layout keeps the rifle easier to carry when the bipod remains attached. Finished in black, this Caldwell bipod is a practical support accessory for hunting rifles and tactical rifles that need fast deployment and dependable stability.

About Caldwell

Caldwell is a shooting-supplies brand focused on equipment for shooting ranges and firearms use. Its catalog covers a broad mix of practical accessories, including shooting rests, targets, ballistic chronographs, and electronic hearing protection, giving the brand a strong presence in the support gear used around rifles and range work. Caldwell also offers steel targets and target-launching equipment, reflecting its emphasis on training and shooting practice rather than firearms themselves.

The brand’s product families include the Lead Sled shooting rests and the E-Max electronic hearing protection line, both of which are well known within the wider shooting-accessories market. In December 2014, Smith & Wesson announced its acquisition of Battenfeld Technologies, which included Caldwell Shooting Supplies. That background helps place Caldwell as a specialist brand centered on practical shooting support equipment, with bipods, rests, and range accessories designed for regular field and bench use.
