Blaser B2 1-6x24 iC Product description

  • True 1x low-end magnification: The image remains natural for both-eyes-open shooting, which helps with fast target acquisition and a better overview on driven hunts or at short range.
  • 6x zoom range: Moving from 1x to 6x gives this riflescope the flexibility to cover close woodland shots as well as more deliberate aiming at longer distances without changing optics.
  • Compact 273.00 mm body: The short design keeps the rifle balanced and leaves room for clip-on equipment, making the scope practical for hunters who want one setup for day, twilight and night use.
  • Illuminated SFP reticle with iC function: The fine illuminated aiming point stays easy to see in poor light, while compatible Blaser rifles can activate illumination automatically for quicker, more intuitive handling.
  • Capped, locking turrets with Zero Stop: The adjustment system protects settings during transport and field use, while still allowing a reliable return to zero after corrections.

About the Blaser B2 Series

The Blaser B2 series sits alongside the B1 line as a family of compact hunting riflescopes built around a 6x zoom system and intended for varied use from daylight to twilight and night hunting. A key part of the concept is compatibility with clip-on devices, which makes the series especially relevant for hunters who want one optic that integrates cleanly into a modern hunting setup without becoming overly long or heavy.

Across the range, Blaser positions the B2 as a sturdy, universal platform with an illuminated 4a reticle in the second focal plane. The illumination is designed for both daytime and nighttime use, with adjustable brightness that lets the aiming point remain visible without overpowering the sight picture. Another defining feature is the iC illumination function, which can work with compatible Blaser R8 or K95 rifles fitted with an iC cocking slide, streamlining operation in the field. In practical terms, the B2 series is aimed at hunters who need one riflescope family that can cover driven hunts, ambush hunting and low-light use while keeping handling straightforward and mechanically robust.

About the Blaser B2 1-6x24 iC

The Blaser B2 1-6x24 iC is the driven-hunt model in the series, built around true 1.00 x to 6.00 x magnification and a very wide 40.00 m/100m field of view at the low end. That combination is what makes it so effective at short to medium distances: at 1x, the sight picture stays fast and intuitive for both-eyes-open shooting, while 6x gives enough reach for more precise shot placement when the opportunity opens up farther out. Its 24.00 mm objective lens and high light transmission support a bright, usable image in the periods when game is often most active.

The scope uses an illuminated reticle in the second focal plane, so the reticle size remains visually consistent throughout the zoom range. In practice, that helps many hunters keep the aiming point easy to read at both low and high magnification. The iC function adds a handling advantage on compatible Blaser rifles by linking illumination control to the rifle system. Mechanically, the riflescope is configured for field reliability with a 30 mm tube, capped locking turrets and a Zero Stop, giving protection against accidental adjustment while preserving the option to dial and return confidently to the original zero. With its 273.00 mm length, nitrogen-filled construction and waterproof, fogproof and shockproof build, it is also well suited to use with clip-on devices and to hard hunting conditions where compactness and dependable function matter as much as optical speed.

About Blaser

Blaser was founded by Horst Blaser in Isny, Germany, in 1957. The company built its reputation in hunting firearms and today produces hunting rifles, combination guns, shotguns and hunting accessories, with sport optics forming part of that broader hunting-focused portfolio. Its optics range includes riflescopes and binoculars, developed to fit the needs of practical field use and to integrate with the company’s rifle systems.

A notable part of Blaser’s design approach is the Original Blaser Saddle Mount, created for quick, tool-free removal and replacement of a riflescope while maintaining a repeatable setup. In 2000, Michael Lüke and Thomas Ortmeier acquired Blaser together with the MAUSER and J.P. SAUER & SOHN brands. Today, Blaser Group is headquartered in Isny im Allgäu, Germany, and Blaser remains a hunting and outdoor equipment brand within that group.

Hello, which of these two top-of-the-range rifle scopes would you recommend for the Blaser R8: Blaser Infinity 1-7x28 iC or Blaser B2 1-6x24 iC. Well thank you.

Dear Sir,

thank you for contacting us.

It is hard to compare the mentioned product with one another since they are in different price categories.

Both of them are great wide angled riflescopes in their respectful price class. However, the Blaser Infinity 1-7x28 is a bit brighter and of higher quality and also has a reticle in the First Focal Plane meaning it gets bigger with higher magnification, whereas on Blaser B2 1-6x24 iC the reticle stays always the same size and does not change with magnification.

Thank you for your understanding.

If you will need any additional information please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Kind Regards
