Question 5

Pulsar core fxq55 bw

Accepted Answer

Dear Sir/Madam,

thank you for your message.

While the FXQ55 was indeed a top-quality thermal imaging device upon its release in 2019, we must acknowledge that technology in the field has made significant improvements since then. Today, thermal imaging technology offers much better image quality, improved thermal sensor resolution, and enhanced sensitivity. These advancements have resulted in a superior user experience and more accurate imaging capabilities compared to the FXQ55.

Considering these developments, we highly recommend exploring newer options available in the market. For a similar price range, we suggest considering the Pulsar Krypton 2 XQ35 device (https://www.optics-trade.eu/si/pulsar-krypton-2-xq35-thermal-imaging-monocular.html). This model offers enhanced performance and comes with a 3x magnification ocular.
