Yukon CZ550 Rifle Mount

• Quick-release design: lets the optic be fitted or removed quickly, which is useful when a rifle is transported, serviced, or shared between setups without turning the mounting process into a lengthy job.
• Made for CZ 550 pattern rifles: the mount is built for the CZ 550 interface and related compatible actions, helping create a secure connection between rifle and optic for consistent alignment.
• Compatible with Pulsar Trail mounting standard: it provides the correct upper interface for Trail-series thermal riflescopes, making it a practical choice when adapting a dedicated hunting optic to a CZ platform.
• Light 100.00 g construction: low weight keeps added bulk to a minimum, so the rifle remains better balanced and easier to carry over long periods in the field.
• Black finish: the subdued exterior matches most rifles and optics while keeping the overall setup visually discreet for hunting use.

About the Yukon Mounts Series

Yukon Mounts is the accessory line through which Yukon offers mounting solutions for riflescopes across several firearm interfaces. The series is built around a simple idea: different rifles require different attachment systems, so the mount has to match both the firearm and the optic if the setup is to remain practical in real use. Within the range, Yukon covers side dovetail, upper dovetail, Weaver/Picatinny, Euro prism, and MAK interfaces, giving the brand a broad spread across common sporting and hunting platforms.

In practical terms, the series is aimed at shooters who use night vision, thermal, and daytime optics and need a dedicated adapter rather than a one-size-fits-all solution. Some models are intended for Soviet- and Russian-pattern side rails, others for conventional upper dovetails or rail-equipped rifles, while prism and MAK options extend compatibility to additional European systems. That makes the series especially relevant for users building a hunting rifle around a specific Yukon or Pulsar optic. Across the line, the emphasis is on correct fit, straightforward installation, and interface-specific design rather than unnecessary complexity.

About the Yukon CZ550 Rifle Mount

The Yukon CZ550 Rifle Mount is a dedicated rifle mount for shooters using a CZ 550-type platform and an optic that follows the Pulsar Trail mounting standard. Its role is straightforward but important: it creates the mechanical link between rifle and sight, allowing the optic to sit on the firearm with the correct interface rather than relying on improvised adapters. For hunting optics, that matters because a mount that matches both sides of the system helps keep the setup more secure and more predictable in use.

This model uses a quick-release design, which is especially useful when the optic needs to be removed for storage, transport, or maintenance. A quick-release arrangement can also simplify handling for shooters who run more than one upper setup or who need to detach the sight without a prolonged workshop-style process. The mount is also relevant beyond the CZ 550 Standard itself, with compatibility extending to several related BRNO and CZ rifles that use the same general 19 mm dovetail pattern.

With a weight of 100.00 g, the mount adds relatively little mass to the rifle, helping preserve handling and balance. The black finish keeps the assembly visually unobtrusive and well matched to modern rifles and electro-optics. For users fitting a Trail-compatible sight to a CZ or BRNO hunting rifle, this mount provides a purpose-built connection between the optic and the firearm.

About Yukon

Yukon Group traces its origins to 1991, when a group of enthusiasts began assembling handmade wooden observation tubes. The company expanded into electro-optics in the following years, starting production of night vision devices in 1999 and night vision riflescopes in 2001. Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, and its development work focuses on thermal imaging, digital night vision, and daytime optical devices.

The company’s product history is closely tied to practical field optics. A 1998 merger with Beltex Optic broadened the portfolio to include binoculars and spotting scopes, while the later emergence of the Pulsar brand in 2009 marked Yukon’s move into a wider range of advanced digital and thermal products. That background is relevant here because Yukon’s mounts are designed as supporting hardware for the brand’s optics ecosystem, connecting rifles and sighting devices in a way that reflects the company’s long-standing focus on hunting and observation equipment.
