Wheeler Delta Series Upper Receiver Action Rod AR-15

1. Enhanced Receiver Protection: This action rod utilizes a unique design that fully supports and engages with the AR-15's barrel extension. This ensures that all torque applied during assembly or disassembly of barrel nuts, flash hiders, or muzzle brakes is transferred directly to the barrel extension, completely bypassing and protecting the delicate aluminum upper receiver locking lugs from stress, distortion, or damage. It's a critical tool for maintaining the integrity of your firearm.

2. Superior Stability: Crafted from high-strength heat-treated steel, the Wheeler Delta Series action rod provides unparalleled rigidity. When clamped in a vise, it creates an incredibly stable platform for your AR-15 upper receiver, eliminating any unwanted flex or movement. This stability is crucial for precision tasks, allowing gunsmiths and enthusiasts to work confidently and accurately on their rifles.

3. AR-15 Specific Design: Engineered exclusively for the AR-15 platform, this tool is indispensable for tasks such as installing new barrels, removing stubborn barrel nuts, timing muzzle devices, or performing detailed maintenance. Its robust construction makes it suitable for applying significant torque without risk to the upper receiver, making it a cornerstone tool for any AR-15 builder or armorer.

4. Versatile Application: Beyond just barrel nuts, the action rod facilitates the safe and secure installation or removal of various AR-15 components including gas blocks, rails, and handguards. It allows gunsmiths, hunters, and sport shooters to customize, upgrade, or repair their AR-15s with professional-grade precision, considerably reducing the risk of damaging costly parts during routine or advanced work.
