Thompson Center Butt Stock with Thumbhole for Encore Rifle

• Thumbhole stock design: The thumbhole grip gives the firing hand a more natural, repeatable position, which helps steady the rifle and supports more consistent trigger control from field rests or the bench.
• Encore rifle compatibility: Built for the T/C Encore platform, this butt stock is suited to owners who want to configure or refresh a rifle setup around Thompson/Center’s interchangeable-system firearm family.
• Rifle-focused fit: As a stock intended for rifles, it provides the rear support and shoulder interface needed for a full-length hunting or range configuration rather than a compact handgun layout.
• Accessory-series practicality: Part of the Thompson Center Accessories range, it follows the brand’s field-oriented approach, with a design aimed at practical use by hunters and outdoor shooters.

About the Thompson Center Accessories Series

Thompson Center Accessories is a broad family of support products built around practical field use. The series covers equipment for carrying firearms and binoculars, along with accessories for transporting muzzleloader reload supplies, which places it firmly in the brand’s hunting and outdoor tradition. Rather than focusing on one narrow product type, the line is organized around how shooters actually use their gear in the field: carrying it, fitting it to the firearm, and adapting it to a specific role.

Within the wider Thompson/Center lineup, this accessory series complements the company’s firearm platforms with products intended for hunters and outdoor users who value straightforward function. Thompson/Center has grouped its firearm accessories into practical categories such as slings and ammunition carriers, and the same approach extends to stock and furniture components for compatible models. That makes the series relevant not only to replacement parts, but also to shooters refining balance, handling, and carry characteristics to suit a preferred setup.

About the Thompson Center Butt Stock with Thumbhole for Encore Rifle

The Thompson Center Butt Stock with Thumbhole for Encore Rifle is a rear stock option for shooters building or updating a T/C Encore rifle configuration. Its defining feature is the thumbhole grip, which changes how the rifle sits in the hand compared with a conventional straight wrist. In practical use, that grip angle can promote a steadier hold, especially when shooting from supported positions where repeatable hand placement matters for consistency.

On a hunting rifle or a range-oriented Encore setup, the butt stock plays a major role in how naturally the firearm mounts to the shoulder and how confidently it tracks through the shot. A thumbhole pattern can help the shooter maintain control without excessive hand tension, which is useful for deliberate shot placement and for managing the rifle comfortably over longer sessions. Because this model is intended for rifles, it suits Encore owners who want the handling of a shoulder-fired platform rather than a more compact configuration.

As part of the Thompson Center Accessories range, this stock fits the brand’s practical, field-driven design approach. It is best suited to shooters who want to tailor an Encore rifle to their preferred grip style and shooting posture, whether the goal is a more secure hold in the field or a more settled position for careful shooting from rests.
