Steiner Ranger 4 1-4x24 Product description

Since its debut in 2015, Steiner’s Ranger line has become one of Europe’s most successful riflescope families. The latest Ranger 4 generation elevates that legacy with a wider field of view, higher light transmission, and a refined hard-anodized finish. Compact, lightweight, and exceptionally robust, the 1–4×24 model is purpose-built for driven hunts, fast shots at close range, and dynamic shooting where speed, awareness, and reliability matter most. Precise, repeatable mechanics and a brilliantly illuminated 4A-I reticle ensure confident aiming from first light to last.

ABOUT THE RANGER 4 SERIES

The Ranger 4 series blends High-Contrast optics with rock-solid mechanics and the brand’s trademark toughness. Hunters benefit from a wide field of view and a generous 90 mm eye relief for maximum overview and safety. Every scope is nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging and sealed against dust, dirt, and moisture. The one-piece aluminum tube with scratch-resistant hard anodizing resists heavy recoil and harsh weather, while the grippy, rubberized magnification ring and precise click adjustments make operation intuitive—gloved or not.

ABOUT THE MODEL (RANGER 4 1–4×24 4A-I)

Optimized for rapid target acquisition, the 1–4×24 provides a true low-power view for both-eyes-open shooting and enough top-end magnification for mid-range precision. Parallax is fixed at 100 m, and the bright 4A-I reticle (2nd focal plane) supports fast centering without obscuring the target. With an exit pupil from 7.8 mm to 5.5 mm and an expansive field of view of 40 m to 10 m @ 100 m (1× to 4×), the scope excels when game appears suddenly and seconds count.

I have a Henry Long Ranger 309 (lever). I am looking at the. 1-4x24 LPVO. This is the first time I’ve heard about a rail mount on the scope (hence avoiding rings). Will this work on my rifle?

by Steve

Dear Sir,

thank you for contacting us.

Please note that Steiner Ranger 4 1-4x24 shares the Zeiss ZM/VM rail underneath, which means that you will require an according-to mount for your rifle. Do you already have a Picatinny rail on your rifle? Please share this information with us directly at [email protected] for further assistance in this regard.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us again at [email protected]

Kind Regards,
