Steiner Micro Pistol Sight (MPS) 2.0

• Fully enclosed emitter design: The sealed optical system protects the red-dot emitter from dust, moisture, dirt and debris, making the sight suitable for demanding duty, defensive and competition applications.
• 3.3 MOA red dot: A crisp red aiming point provides fast target acquisition while maintaining precision for controlled shooting.
• Up to 90,000 hours of battery life: Powered by a CR2032 battery, the MPS 2.0 delivers up to 90,000 hours of operation at brightness level 4 and up to 27,000 hours at maximum brightness.
• Redesigned battery compartment: The magnetic battery-cover design simplifies battery replacement while keeping the battery securely retained.
• Improved brightness controls: Enlarged push buttons provide convenient access to eight brightness levels, including six day/night settings and two night-vision-compatible settings.
• Aimpoint ACRO footprint: Compatible with mounting solutions designed for the Aimpoint ACRO interface.
• Reinforced all-metal housing: The rugged construction is designed to withstand repeated recoil and demanding operating conditions. The sight is waterproof to a depth of 20 metres.

About the Steiner Reflex Sights Series

Steiner reflex sights are designed for fast target acquisition, reliable operation and durability in demanding environments. The manufacturer's red-dot range includes compact pistol optics such as the original MPS, the upgraded MPS 2.0 and the smaller MPS-C.

The MPS family combines protected emitter designs with robust construction and intuitive operation. These characteristics make the sights suitable for professional use, personal defence, practical competition and recreational shooting.

About the Steiner Micro Pistol Sight (MPS) 2.0

The Steiner Micro Pistol Sight (MPS) 2.0 is a compact, fully enclosed 1× reflex sight developed for reliable operation on handguns. Building on the original MPS platform, the updated model introduces improvements to battery performance, brightness controls and battery-compartment design.

This particular version, manufacturer article number 8700000040, features a 3.3 MOA red dot. The enclosed emitter is protected within a reinforced all-metal housing, helping maintain reliable operation in adverse weather and demanding shooting conditions.

One of the most significant improvements is the new CR2032 battery system. Steiner specifies up to 90,000 hours of operation at brightness level 4 and 27,000 hours at maximum brightness. The redesigned magnetic battery cover and enlarged brightness buttons improve handling and battery replacement.

The illumination system offers eight brightness levels, including six day/night settings and two settings compatible with night-vision devices. A configurable 15-hour automatic shutoff helps manage power consumption, while the button-lock function prevents unintended changes to the selected brightness.

For zeroing, the MPS 2.0 provides 1 MOA adjustment clicks and a total adjustment range of 90 MOA for both windage and elevation. Parallax compensation is fixed at 25 metres.

The sight uses the Aimpoint ACRO mounting footprint and features a 21 × 16 mm optical aperture. Its dimensions are 45 × 31.6 × 31.9 mm, with a weight of 66 g without an adapter. The housing is waterproof to a depth of 20 metres, making it suitable for demanding outdoor conditions.
