Smartclip Reduction Ring for Pulsar Forward

• Pulsar Forward Compatibility: This reduction ring is made specifically for Pulsar Forward thermal clip-on use, helping connect the device to the appropriate Smartclip mounting solution without improvised fitment.
• Steel Construction: The steel body gives the ring the rigidity needed for repeatable alignment, which matters when a clip-on attachment must stay consistent through mounting and removal.
• Compact Adapter Component: As part of the Smartclip Accessories range, the reduction ring expands system compatibility without adding unnecessary bulk to the front of the riflescope.
• Built for Thermal Clip-On Systems: Designed for thermal clip-on setups, it supports a secure interface between mounting components so the optic system remains practical for field use.
• Made in Slovenia: Production in Slovenia reflects Smartclip’s focus on specialized clip-on mounting hardware for hunters and shooters who need a dedicated adapter solution rather than a universal compromise.

About the Smartclip Accessories Series

Smartclip Accessories is the supporting hardware range built around the company’s clip-on mounting systems. The series is intended for users who run night-vision and thermal clip-on devices on conventional riflescopes and need the correct interface between optic, adapter and attachment standard. Rather than treating every setup as universal, this range is organized around the practical differences between thread standards, bayonet interfaces and riflescope objective diameters.

Within the broader Smartclip catalog, the accessories line sits alongside the company’s AS, AS U.S.E., AS Long and PS adapter families. That gives the series a clear role: it handles the conversion and fitment details that make a clip-on system usable in the field. The range includes solutions for M52×0.75 threaded systems as well as device-specific mounting standards such as the Pulsar Forward bayonet. In practice, that means the series is aimed at shooters who want a cleaner, more purpose-built way to match a clip-on device to a riflescope, while keeping the mounting arrangement compact, repeatable and suited to real hunting optics use.

About the Smartclip Reduction Ring for Pulsar Forward

The Smartclip Reduction Ring for Pulsar Forward is a specialized mounting accessory for shooters using a Pulsar Forward clip-on device as part of a thermal or night-vision front attachment setup. Its role is straightforward but important: it helps bridge the dimensional or interface difference between the clip-on mounting standard and the corresponding Smartclip adapter arrangement. In a clip-on system, that kind of part matters because a poor fit at the connection point can undermine handling, repeatability and overall confidence in the setup.

Built from steel, the reduction ring is intended for users who prioritize a solid mechanical connection over lightweight compromise. The material choice supports stable engagement between parts and suits a component that may be mounted, removed and reinstalled repeatedly during seasonal use. Finished in black, it visually matches typical riflescope and clip-on housings and keeps the setup discreet on a hunting rifle.

Because this accessory is designed specifically for thermal clip-on applications, it makes most sense in systems where the user wants to retain a daytime riflescope and add front-mounted observation or aiming capability only when needed. In that role, the ring contributes to a more integrated mounting solution and helps keep the overall assembly aligned with the Smartclip approach to dedicated clip-on adapters rather than generic one-size-fits-all hardware.

About Smartclip

Smartclip d.o.o. was registered on 20 April 2018 and is based in Novo mesto, Slovenia. The company focuses on adapter systems for night-vision and thermal imaging clip-on devices, with a product range built around the practical problem of joining front-mounted electro-optics to conventional riflescopes. Its catalog includes the AS, AS U.S.E., AS Long and PS adapter families, along with converters for adapting mounting standards.

Smartclip is particularly associated with interfaces such as M52×0.75 threaded systems and the Pulsar Forward bayonet. Its design approach also includes details such as rubber at metal contact points to reduce operating noise, which is relevant for field use where quiet handling matters. In this product category, Smartclip has built its reputation around dedicated clip-on mounting solutions rather than general-purpose accessories.
