Sightron SIIISS Competition 45x45 ED

• 45x fixed magnification: the high-power fixed design gives a consistent sight picture and a very fine aiming view, which suits F-class, benchrest and other target disciplines where repeatability matters more than zoom flexibility.
• ED glass optical system: extra-low dispersion glass helps reduce color fringing and improves target definition, making it easier to hold precisely on scoring rings and small aiming marks at extended distance.
• Side focus from 10 m to infinity: broad parallax adjustment lets the scope stay sharp and parallax-free across rimfire, mid-range and long-range target use, with quick correction from the shooting position.
• Capped target turrets with resettable zero: the turret layout supports precise adjustment while keeping the controls protected from accidental movement during transport and match handling.
• 30 mm one-piece tube with waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction: the durable build and nitrogen-filled tube help the scope stay reliable through changing weather, temperature shifts and repeated recoil.

About the Sightron SIII Series

The Sightron SIII series sits in the brand’s upper target and long-range riflescope range, covering competition, field-target, long-range and precision long-range applications. It is built for shooters who want repeatable mechanical adjustment, fine reticle options and the kind of magnification range that supports deliberate shot placement rather than fast, close-range use. Across the line, SIII models are offered with first- and second-focal-plane reticles, with reticle choices that include target, fine-crosshair, MOA and mil-hash patterns. That variety lets the series serve very different jobs, from formal competition to practical long-range shooting.

A defining part of the SIII concept is Sightron’s ExacTrack adjustment system, used to keep windage and elevation movement consistent through the adjustment range. Sightron also uses Zact-7 Revcoat lens multicoating on SIII riflescopes, supporting good light transmission and a clean, high-contrast image. In practical terms, the SIII family is designed around precise aiming, dependable tracking and strong optical clarity, with model-specific combinations of magnification, reticle style and illumination to match different target and field disciplines.

About the Sightron SIIISS Competition 45x45 ED

The Sightron SIIISS Competition 45x45 ED is a fixed-power target riflescope built around 45x magnification and a 45 mm objective lens, a combination aimed squarely at shooters who value a stable, highly detailed sight picture for deliberate fire. In F-class and other precision target disciplines, a fixed 45x scope removes the temptation to chase magnification settings and instead gives a consistent view that helps the shooter focus on hold, wind call and trigger control. The ED glass optical design improves target definition and helps reduce chromatic aberration, which is especially useful when trying to resolve bullet holes, scoring rings or fine contrast changes at distance.

This model uses a second focal plane reticle and capped target turrets with resettable zero. That layout suits shooters who dial carefully and want the turrets protected between strings or during transport. With 5 MOA per turn and up to 39.00 MOA of elevation and windage adjustment, the scope is configured for controlled, repeatable corrections rather than rapid field changes. The side-focus parallax adjustment from 10 m to infinity adds flexibility for everything from rimfire target work to long-range centerfire shooting, while the fast-focus eyepiece helps bring the reticle into sharp view quickly. A 30 mm tube, fully multicoated lenses, nitrogen filling and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction complete a design centered on precision use in demanding match conditions.

About Sightron

Sightron was originally based in Miami, Florida, and later moved its headquarters to North Carolina. The company began with red-dot sights and later expanded into riflescopes for hunting and target shooting, as well as binoculars and spotting scopes. Its product range includes established riflescope families such as SII, SIIB Big Sky, SIII, S-TAC and SV, covering everything from general sporting use to dedicated long-range and competition optics.

Within riflescopes, Sightron is particularly known for features such as the ExacTrack windage and elevation adjustment system and Zact-7 Revcoat lens multicoating technology. The brand’s riflescopes are manufactured in Japan, reflecting a strong focus on mechanical consistency and optical quality in target and hunting optics. That background makes Sightron a well-established name for shooters who prioritize repeatable adjustments and clear, practical optical performance.
