Sightron S1 1.75-5x32 G2

• Close-range hunting magnification: The 1.75-5x zoom range gives a wide view for fast shots at short distance while still adding enough magnification for more deliberate aiming across open ground.
• Compact 32 mm objective: The 32.00 mm front lens helps keep the scope light and trim, making the rifle easier to carry and quicker to mount in dense cover or from awkward field positions.
• Capped hunting turrets: Capped adjustments protect the zero from accidental movement during transport or while moving through brush, which suits a stalking or general hunting rifle.
• 1-inch lightweight tube: The 25.4 mm tube and 360.00 g weight keep bulk down, helping maintain natural rifle balance on compact hunting setups.
• Weather-ready construction: IPX-7 waterproof, nitrogen-filled and shockproof construction supports reliable use in rain, temperature changes and hard field handling.

About the Sightron SI Hunter Series

The Sightron SI Hunter series was developed as a hunting-focused line built around practical field use rather than specialized competition features. The range included both hunting and Field Target configurations, showing that the family was designed to cover straightforward sporting rifles as well as more deliberate precision-oriented setups. Within the hunting models, Sightron offered familiar reticle choices such as Duplex, Mil-Dot, Hunter Holdover, Crosshair and MOA-20, giving shooters options from simple game reticles to layouts better suited to holdover or range estimation.

A defining trait of the series was its use of a 1-inch tube, a format that keeps weight and mounting requirements manageable on traditional hunting rifles. In practical terms, that makes the series a natural fit for stalking, woodland hunting and general-purpose sporting use where compact handling matters as much as optical clarity. The line also included more specialized variants, including a rimfire 3-9x32 RF model, which shows the breadth of the family. Overall, the SI Hunter concept centered on straightforward optics, familiar reticle designs and field-friendly proportions for hunters who value a simple, dependable riflescope.

About the Sightron S1 1.75-5x32 G2

The Sightron S1 1.75-5x32 G2 is a compact hunting riflescope built for fast target acquisition at short to moderate distances. Its 1.75-5x magnification range favors rifles used in woodland, driven hunting and general stalking, where a broad field of view matters at the low end but a little extra magnification is still useful for more precise shot placement. At 23.70 m/100m on low power, the scope gives a wide sight picture that helps the shooter pick up moving game quickly and stay aware of the surroundings.

This model uses a Second Focal Plane G2 Duplex reticle, so the reticle remains visually consistent throughout the zoom range. That makes it intuitive for hunters who want a familiar sight picture with no change in apparent reticle thickness as magnification is adjusted. The non-illuminated duplex layout keeps the image uncluttered and is especially well suited to fast centering on game against mixed natural backgrounds.

The mechanical setup also reflects its hunting role. Capped turrets protect the adjustments from accidental movement, while the 1/4 MOA click value allows conventional zeroing without adding unnecessary complexity. A fixed parallax setting at 91.44 m keeps operation simple in the field, and the 84.00-86.00 mm eye relief supports comfortable head position on lightweight hunting rifles. With its 262.00 mm length, 360.00 g weight, multicoated lenses and weather-sealed 1-inch tube, this scope is designed to stay unobtrusive on the rifle while delivering a clear, practical sight picture in changing outdoor conditions.

About Sightron

Sightron was originally based in Miami, Florida, and later moved its headquarters to North Carolina. The company first entered the market with red-dot sights before expanding into hunting riflescopes and target scopes, which helps explain the breadth of its optics lineup today. Sightron also produces binoculars and spotting scopes, but riflescopes remain a central part of its identity in both hunting and target shooting.

A notable part of the brand’s reputation is that Sightron riflescopes are manufactured in Japan, a detail often associated with consistent optical and mechanical standards in this category. Across its riflescope range, Sightron is known for technologies such as ExacTrack adjustment design in several series and Zact-7 Revcoat lens multicoating technology. Together, these reflect the company’s emphasis on dependable tracking, practical field performance and clear optical presentation rather than unnecessary complexity.
