Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec LQD AR Riser Mount

• Quick-detach lever system: The locking quick-detach design lets the mount be removed or reinstalled on a Picatinny rail without tools, which is useful when swapping optics or returning to a familiar setup in the field.
• AR-height riser format: Built as an AR riser mount, it raises compatible Mini Shot optics to a height better suited to AR-platform shooting positions, helping deliver a more natural head position and faster sight acquisition.
• Docter mounting standard interface: Compatibility with the Docter mounting standard makes this mount a practical fit for Mini Shot-style reflex sights and other optics that share the same footprint.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight down while still providing the rigidity needed for a secure optic platform on rifles and carbines.
• Compact 56.00 mm length: Its 56.00 mm overall length keeps the mounting setup short and tidy, leaving more rail space available for magnifiers, backup sights, or other accessories.

About the Sightmark Mounts Series

Sightmark Mounts is the accessory family that supports the brand’s optics across hunting, defensive, and competition-oriented rifle setups. Sightmark lists mounts and mounted rings as a dedicated accessory category, covering everything from riflescope mounts and mounting rings to solutions made specifically for Wraith optics. Within the range, the emphasis is on practical compatibility: users can choose from Picatinny-compatible designs in fixed, locking quick-detach, and cantilever formats depending on the rifle, optic, and intended use.

The series is built around straightforward integration with modern shooting platforms. Some models are tailored to digital optics, including Wraith-specific mounts for riflescopes, monoculars, and infrared illuminators, while others address more conventional scope and reflex-sight mounting needs. That broad approach makes the series relevant to shooters who want to adapt one optic system across several firearms, or refine height and eye alignment for a more efficient shooting position. Across the line, the defining idea is not ornamentation but secure attachment, repeatable positioning, and platform-specific fit.

About the Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec LQD AR Riser Mount

The Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec LQD AR Riser Mount is a compact mounting solution for shooters who need a Mini Shot reflex sight positioned at a more suitable height for AR-style rifles and carbines. Its combination of an AR riser profile and locking quick-detach mechanism makes it especially useful on rifles that may be configured for different roles, where an optic might be removed for transport, maintenance, or replacement with another sighting system.

The mount uses the Docter mounting standard, allowing it to interface with compatible Mini Shot optics and other sights that share the same footprint. In practical use, that matters because footprint compatibility determines whether a red dot can be mounted securely without adapters that add extra bulk or complexity. The riser format also helps place the optic in a more natural line with the shooter’s eye on AR-pattern firearms, which can improve speed when presenting the rifle and reduce the need to press the head too low onto the stock.

Its aluminium construction balances durability with modest weight, while the 56.00 mm overall length keeps the mount compact enough to preserve rail space for other accessories. For users building a streamlined tactical optics setup, or simply wanting a cleaner and faster red dot mounting solution on a Picatinny-equipped firearm, this mount focuses on secure fit, sensible height, and quick handling rather than unnecessary bulk.

About Sightmark

Sightmark was introduced at SHOT Show in 2007 and is a brand of Sellmark Corporation. The company is headquartered in Mansfield, Texas, United States, and develops optics and shooting accessories for rifles, shotguns, and pistols. Its product range covers practical shooting needs across hunting, home defense, and competition, with categories that include red-dot sights, riflescopes, laser boresights, binoculars, and spotting scopes.

The brand is also active in electro-optics, including digital night-vision and thermal products in the Wraith line. That broad catalog is relevant here because it shows Sightmark’s focus on complete sighting and mounting solutions rather than optics alone. In addition to sights and observation products, the company supports those systems with mounts and related accessories designed for modern sporting and tactical firearms.
