Sightmark Accudot Pistol Boresight

• In-chamber alignment: The Sightmark Accudot Pistol Boresight seats in the chamber rather than attaching at the muzzle, helping deliver a more direct reference for aligning handgun sights or a pistol-mounted optic before live-fire zeroing.
• Rechargeable Accudot design: The internal rechargeable power system avoids disposable button cells, making the boresight easier to keep ready for regular setup checks and repeated range use.
• Brass housing: The brass body gives the boresight the rigidity and wear resistance needed for repeated chambering while also helping it sit securely during the alignment process.
• Ammo-saving setup tool: As part of the Sightmark Boresights line, it is built to get sights on paper faster, reducing the number of confirmation rounds needed when setting up a pistol.
• Pistol-specific format: Designed for pistols, this boresight offers a compact, firearm-specific approach that suits handgun sight adjustment, optic installation, and routine zero checks.

About the Sightmark Boresights Series

Sightmark Boresights are designed as practical zeroing tools that help shooters align sights and optics before moving to live-fire confirmation. In Sightmark’s lineup, the series covers a broad range of applications, from rifles and pistols to rimfires, shotguns and archery, making it one of the brand’s most utility-focused accessory families. The core idea is simple: establish preliminary alignment efficiently so fewer rounds are spent just getting on paper.

Within the range, Sightmark offers both caliber-specific in-chamber boresights and universal muzzle-based designs. The caliber-specific models project a laser dot for direct sight alignment, while universal versions use alternative mounting systems for broader compatibility. This gives the series appeal to both newer shooters learning basic setup and experienced users who want a faster way to mount a new optic, verify alignment after transport, or check a handgun before a range session. Across the family, the emphasis stays on straightforward handling, compact form, and practical compatibility for hunting and target-shooting use.

About the Sightmark Accudot Pistol Boresight

The Sightmark Accudot Pistol Boresight is built for shooters who want a faster, cleaner way to set up a handgun sighting system. As an in-chamber pistol boresight, it aligns from the chamber rather than the muzzle, which is especially useful on handguns where compact dimensions and slide-mounted optics can make setup more sensitive to small alignment errors. That makes it a practical accessory for iron sights, red dot sights, and general pistol zero verification.

What sets the Accudot version apart is its internal rechargeable battery. For regular range users, that means less dependence on small disposable cells and a more convenient routine when the boresight is used often for multiple pistols or repeated optic changes. The brass construction also suits the role well: it is durable enough for repeated insertion and removal, while the cartridge-style format remains easy to carry in a range bag.

In practical use, this boresight is intended to shorten the setup process rather than replace final zeroing. It helps bring the point of aim and bore relationship close enough for efficient confirmation at the range, which can save time and reduce wasted ammunition. For handgun owners fitting a new optic, adjusting sights, or checking alignment after maintenance, the Sightmark Accudot Pistol Boresight serves as a compact and repeatable starting point.

About Sightmark

Sightmark was introduced at SHOT Show in 2007 and is headquartered in Mansfield, Texas, United States. The brand is part of Sellmark Corporation and focuses on optics and shooting accessories for hunting, home defense, and competition shooting. Its catalog covers a wide span of categories, including red-dot sights, riflescopes, laser boresights, binoculars, and spotting scopes, along with digital night-vision and thermal products such as the Wraith line.

This broad product mix is relevant to accessories like the Accudot because Sightmark develops equipment for rifles, shotguns, and pistols rather than for a single firearm type. That gives the brand a strong presence in practical setup tools, sighting accessories, and field optics, with an emphasis on products that support installation, zeroing, and general shooting use.
