Safariland 744BL Clip ON Belt Loop

• Clip-on belt mounting: The Safariland 744BL Clip-On Belt Loop clips on and off without forcing a full belt re-thread, making it practical for users who change loadouts or move accessories between belts.
• Broad accessory compatibility: It works with Safariland tactical accessories, so it serves as a simple mounting option across different setups instead of being limited to one specific pouch style.
• Fits duty-size belts: Support for belts up to 2.25 “ (58mm) makes it suitable for common duty and range belts, helping keep accessories stable during movement.
• Polymer construction: The polymer body keeps weight low while providing the rigidity needed for daily carry equipment and repeated attachment cycles.
• UFA-compatible design: It can be paired with the Universal Flex Adapter (UFA) for quicker attachment and detachment, which is useful when configuring gear for different roles.

About the Safariland Accessories Series

Safariland Accessories covers the mounting hardware, adapters, loops and support components that let Safariland holsters and pouches be configured for different carry positions and working environments. Within the broader Safariland lineup, this series supports the same practical focus seen across the company’s duty and tactical equipment: secure attachment, repeatable positioning and compatibility with established mounting patterns. Rather than changing the core holster or pouch, these accessories let users adapt proven equipment to belt, vest or tactical setups more efficiently.

In practice, the series is aimed at law enforcement, military, range users and other professionals who need their equipment to sit at the right height, angle and location for the task. The range includes belt loops, paddles, adapters and related hardware designed to balance durability with straightforward installation. A key characteristic of the series is its emphasis on modularity, allowing one accessory body or pouch to be moved between mounting solutions as requirements change. That makes Safariland Accessories a functional extension of the brand’s holster ecosystem rather than a separate product category.

About the Safariland 744BL Clip ON Belt Loop

The Safariland 744BL Clip ON Belt Loop is a simple mounting accessory built for users who want faster on-and-off belt attachment than a fixed loop usually provides. Its main advantage is convenience: the clip-on format allows the accessory to be mounted or removed without fully stripping the belt, which is especially useful for duty belts, range belts and other setups that already carry multiple items. For users who regularly reconfigure their equipment, that saves time and reduces disruption to the rest of the loadout.

This model is intended for Safariland tactical accessories and also serves as a replacement item for the Model 774 Single Magazine Pouch for long guns. The design attaches with two Allen screws, giving a more secure connection than a simple snap-on arrangement while still keeping installation straightforward. Its fit for belts up to 2.25 “ (58mm) matches common duty-belt widths, helping the accessory stay properly supported instead of shifting excessively on the belt.

The polymer construction keeps the 744BL light and resistant to routine wear, which matters on equipment that may be attached, removed and repositioned repeatedly. It can also be used with the Universal Flex Adapter (UFA), adding another layer of flexibility for users who want quicker transitions between belt-mounted configurations. Finished in black, it integrates cleanly with standard duty and tactical gear.

About Safariland

Safariland was established in 1964 by Neale Perkins, who began the business in Sierra Madre, California as a holster maker. Over time, the company expanded well beyond holsters into armor, accessories and communications equipment, building a broad product range for professional and civilian users. Today, Safariland serves law enforcement, military, fire and rescue, competitive shooting and everyday carry markets.

The company is particularly well known for its retention-holster expertise, including the ALS system, which uses an internal lock released by a thumb lever. Safariland also developed the SafariSeven material used in 7TS holsters, reflecting its focus on durable duty equipment and practical field use. The Safariland Group is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and the brand remains closely associated with professional holsters, mounting systems and related tactical gear.
