Rusan Pivot mount without bases for CZ 550 Scandinavia, Yukon Photon, 30mm, extra high

• Pivot quick-release design: The mount lets a Yukon Photon device be attached and removed with the speed and repeatability expected from a pivot system, which is useful for rifles that alternate between day and night-use setups.
• 30 mm interface for Yukon Photon: Built around the 30 mm mounting standard used by the Yukon Photon, it provides the correct fit for this sight type and avoids improvised ring solutions.
• Extra-high configuration: The extra-high build gives additional clearance where a larger sight body or rifle geometry demands more space, helping achieve a practical mounting position without contact issues.
• Steel construction: A steel body gives the mount the rigidity needed to keep alignment stable under recoil and repeated removal, which matters for maintaining dependable point-of-impact consistency.
• Without bases format: Supplied as the upper pivot-mount assembly without bases, it is intended for rifles already prepared for the matching pivot base system, making it a sensible replacement or upgrade component.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts for NV and Thermal are built for shooters who want to fit digital night-vision and thermal devices to hunting rifles with the familiarity of a classic pivot mounting system. In Rusan’s current catalog, the series covers night-vision and thermal devices across a wide range of rifle interfaces, including 11 mm, 16.5 mm and 19 mm prism arrangements, as well as rifle-specific fits for many established actions. That broad compatibility makes the series especially relevant to users who need a mount matched not only to the optic, but also to the exact rifle platform.

A defining characteristic of the series is its focus on device-specific upper parts for products such as Yukon Photon, HIKMICRO Thunder and Pulsar Talion, rather than treating all electro-optics as interchangeable. Rusan also offers the line both as complete pivot mounts with bases and as upper parts without bases, which suits rifles already equipped with the corresponding lower components. The design philosophy is practical: solid metal construction, repeatable detachable use and model-specific geometry that helps digital and thermal sights sit correctly on the rifle for field use after dark.

About the Rusan Pivot mount without bases for CZ 550 Scandinavia, Yukon Photon, 30mm, extra high

This Rusan pivot mount is configured specifically for the CZ 550 Scandinavia and for the Yukon Photon in 30 mm format, which is important because digital night-vision sights often need a more exact mechanical fit than conventional daytime optics. By using a rifle-specific pivot pattern and a sight-specific upper arrangement, the mount is designed to place the Photon securely and consistently, so the rifle can be set up for low-light and night shooting without relying on generic adapters.

The extra-high configuration is the key distinction of this version. Additional height can be important when the sight body, objective housing or rifle geometry requires more clearance than a standard-height mount provides. In practice, that helps prevent interference with the rifle while also giving more flexibility in achieving a usable sight line. The stated dimensions of 26.00 mm BH and 41.00 mm H identify this as one of the taller options in the range for applications where mounting space is limited.

The mount is made from steel, a sensible choice for a detachable pivot system because it supports rigidity at the hinge and locking surfaces, where repeatable positioning matters most. Its 0 MOA inclination keeps the setup neutral, which suits general-purpose night-hunting configurations where the priority is secure mounting rather than built-in cant. Because this version is supplied without bases, it is best suited to rifles that already use the matching pivot-base arrangement and need the correct upper assembly for a Yukon Photon.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993, establishing the area that still defines much of its product range today. Rusan manufactures scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails and firearm tuning products, with a strong emphasis on precise metal components for sporting and hunting rifles.

The company is also well known for accessories that connect modern electro-optics to conventional firearms. It introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009 and produces adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices alongside its mounting systems. That background is directly relevant to products such as pivot mounts for Yukon, HIKMICRO and other digital sight platforms, where exact fit and dependable repeatability are more important than broad one-size-fits-all compatibility.
