ABOUT THE ARTIFEX SERIES

The ROME ARTIFEX series is designed for precision and long-range shooting applications where a stable and highly adaptable rifle support is essential.

Instead of relying solely on conventional leg extension, the ARTIFEX platform provides extensive control over the overall geometry of the bipod. The shooter can adjust the height, width, leg inclination and rifle cant, making it possible to adapt the support position to different terrain, firing positions and rifle configurations.

A particularly distinctive feature is the wide 0°–180° leg inclination range. The legs can be locked into five different angular positions, allowing the bipod footprint to be widened considerably when a lower and more stable shooting position is required.

ABOUT THE ROME ARTIFEX A1LA

The ROME ARTIFEX A1LA is a precision rifle bipod equipped with a Quick Mount attachment for Arca rails. It is designed primarily for precision shooting and long-range rifle setups where both stability and positional flexibility are important.

The integrated Arca mounting interface allows the bipod to be attached directly to compatible rifle chassis and Arca rails. This type of interface is particularly useful on precision rifle systems where the position of the bipod may need to be adjusted along the length of the fore-end.

The bipod offers a cant adjustment range of ±30°, providing 60° of total movement. Cant can be adjusted and secured using a quick-locking lever, allowing the rifle to be levelled on uneven ground without repositioning the entire bipod.

Each leg can be inclined between 0° and 180° and locked into five positions: 0°, 45°, 90°, 135° and 180°. This broad adjustment range allows the shooter to significantly change both the height and width of the support platform.

With the legs positioned at 90°, the overall height ranges from 114 to 281 mm, depending on the selected leg position and extension. The leg extension system itself provides 7 adjustment positions in 7 mm increments, while a push-button mechanism enables rapid leg retraction.

The legs can additionally be configured in three height and width positions per side. Depending on configuration, the overall width ranges from approximately 256 mm to 522 mm, allowing the shooter to create a particularly wide and stable footprint when required.

The ARTIFEX A1LA is manufactured primarily from 7075 lightweight aluminium alloy with a hard, thick anodized surface treatment. Stainless-steel components feature a wear-resistant coating, while the screws are manufactured from surface-treated stainless steel. The complete bipod weighs approximately 930 g.
