ABOUT THE RECKNAGEL TWO-PIECE WEAVER BASE FOR FFV CARL GUSTAF 2000 / 3000

The Recknagel Two-Piece Weaver Base for FFV Carl Gustaf 2000 / 3000 offers an economical and lightweight solution for securely mounting a rifle scope on these specific rifle models. Made from high-quality black anodized aluminium, these bases provide a robust yet light foundation for your optics. While an affordable and practical choice for budget-conscious hunters and recreational shooters, it is crucial to understand the installation complexity inherent to two-piece Weaver setups. Unlike one-piece Picatinny rails which are easier for DIY installation, these bases require precise alignment across height, longitudinal, and horizontal axes to prevent stressing the rifle scope tube. Any misalignment can lead to scope flex, poor accuracy, or even potential damage to the optic. Therefore, for optimal performance and to safeguard your equipment, we highly recommend professional gunsmith installation.
