ABOUT THE RECKNAGEL TWO-PIECE WEAVER BASE FOR FFV CARL GUSTAF 1900

The Recknagel Two-Piece Weaver Base for FFV Carl Gustaf 1900 provides hunters and recreational shooters with a cost-effective and reliable solution for mounting optics. Crafted from robust black anodized aluminium, these bases offer a lightweight yet exceptionally durable platform, perfect for those who value reduced rifle weight for easier field carry. While two-piece Weaver bases represent an economical approach to scope mounting, it is crucial to understand the installation complexity. Achieving optimal performance requires precise alignment in height, longitudinal, and horizontal axes to prevent scope tube stress and misalignment. We generally recommend a one-piece Picatinny rail for its ease of installation and greater flexibility. However, for users committed to a two-piece Weaver setup, especially with the FFV Carl Gustaf 1900, professional installation by a gunsmith is highly advised to ensure perfect alignment and mitigate potential accuracy issues or optic damage. This system is ideal for those seeking a traditional mounting style on their specific rifle model, offering a BH height of 5 mm for a streamlined profile.
