Primary Arms 30 mm AR15 Mount

• 30 mm cantilever format: Positions a riflescope forward on an AR-platform rifle, helping achieve proper eye relief without crowding the charging handle.
• 1 inch (25.4 mm) insert included: Expands compatibility beyond 30 mm tubes, allowing the same mount to hold many 1 inch scopes without needing a separate ring set.
• Aluminium construction: Keeps weight manageable while providing the rigidity needed to hold zero under regular field and range use.
• 0 MOA alignment: Maintains a neutral mounting angle, making it a practical choice for general-purpose carbines and standard-distance shooting setups.
• Picatinny rail compatibility: Fits the common M1913-style interface used on many rifles and chassis systems, making installation straightforward across a wide range of platforms.

About the Primary Arms Mounts Series

Primary Arms Mounts covers a broad selection of mounting solutions for modern sporting, hunting, and tactical optics. The series includes mounts for scopes, magnifiers, and red-dot optics, along with separate scope rings and risers, giving shooters a unified system for different sighting setups. Within the lineup, Primary Arms offers CLx, SLx, GLx, and PLx variants, reflecting the brand’s wider optics family and providing options that suit everything from straightforward range rifles to more demanding field builds.

The series is built around practical compatibility. It includes models for 1-inch, 30 mm, and 34 mm optic tubes, as well as mounts designed around the M1913 Picatinny interface that remains standard on many rifles and chassis systems. Cantilever mounts are a key part of the range, especially for AR-pattern rifles where forward optic placement improves head position and eye relief. Across the family, the design approach is simple and functional: secure attachment, repeatable alignment, and configurations that match the way modern optics are actually used.

About the Primary Arms 30 mm AR15 Mount

The Primary Arms 30 mm AR15 Mount is a fixed cantilever scope mount designed for shooters who need a clean, dependable way to install a riflescope on a flat-top rifle with a Picatinny rail. Its cantilever layout moves the optic forward compared with conventional ring placement, which is especially useful on AR-platform rifles where proper eye relief often requires more frontward positioning. In practice, that means a more natural head position and easier access to the rifle’s controls.

The mount is built for 30 mm scope tubes, a common format in modern hunting optics and tactical optics, but it also includes a 1 inch (25.4 mm) insert. That added flexibility makes it useful for shooters who may already own a 1-inch scope and want AR-style mounting geometry without changing to a different mount. The 0 MOA inclination keeps the optic level in a standard configuration, which suits general-purpose carbines, recreational shooting, and many practical field setups where an angled base is unnecessary.

Its aluminium construction balances strength with moderate weight, and the non-adjustable windage design keeps the mount mechanically simple. For users who want a straightforward fixed mount rather than a quick-detach system or a highly specialized long-range base, this model focuses on stable scope placement, broad compatibility, and uncomplicated installation.

About Primary Arms

Primary Arms Optics was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas, United States. The company focuses on sporting and tactical sighting equipment, with a catalog that includes rifle scopes, prism scopes, red dot sights, mounts, and related accessories. It is particularly known for the ACSS reticle system, a proprietary reticle concept developed to combine aiming, ranging, and holdover references in a practical format, and for AutoLive motion-sensing illumination technology used in selected optics.

Beyond product design, Primary Arms also operates e-commerce, wholesale distribution, and government sales divisions, giving the brand a broad presence across the shooting market. Its optics families include PLx, GLx, SLx, and CLx, which cover different performance tiers and applications. That mix of optics development and mounting solutions makes Primary Arms a well-established name for shooters building complete rifle setups around compatible sighting systems.
