Pinewood Backpack Outdoor

• 22 l capacity: gives the Pinewood Backpack Outdoor enough room for day-hike essentials, spare clothing and food without becoming bulky for everyday outdoor use.
• Waterproof polyester construction: helps protect contents from wet ground and changing weather, making the backpack easier to rely on for hiking, camping and general outdoor trips.
• Light, practical layout: the simple design with two pockets and a zippered compartment keeps smaller items separated so they are quicker to find on the move.
• Comfort-focused carry features: the shoulder straps and top handle make it easy to carry, lift and stow whether the pack is used on the trail or around camp.
• All-round outdoor purpose: built for hiking, camping and general outdoor use, it suits users who want one straightforward backpack for varied day trips.

About the Outdoor Series

Pinewood Outdoor products are built as practical, general-purpose gear for users who move between hiking, camping and everyday outdoor activities rather than focusing on one narrow discipline. In Pinewood’s range, this type of backpack sits on the accessible, utility-driven side of the lineup: simple to use, easy to pack and suited to varied terrain and changing weather. The design philosophy is straightforward durability, with materials chosen to cope with regular outdoor wear while keeping the pack manageable for day use.

Within this part of the range, the emphasis is on functional storage, weather-resistant construction and uncomplicated carrying comfort. Instead of adding specialist features for hydration systems or modular load carriage, the Outdoor concept prioritises the basics that matter most on short trips: usable volume, secure zip access, practical pocket placement and a shape that works equally well on a trail, at a campsite or during casual outdoor travel. That makes the series a sensible fit for users who want one backpack for mixed outdoor routines.

About the Pinewood Backpack Outdoor

The Pinewood Backpack Outdoor is a compact 22.00 l backpack intended for day trips where low bulk and simple organisation matter more than expedition-level load capacity. Its size makes it well suited to carrying the essentials for a walk, a short hike or a day around camp: extra layers, food, small accessories and other personal gear. Because it does not rely on a complicated layout, it is quick to pack and easy to live with in everyday outdoor use.

The body uses 100% polyester for both the outer and inner material, giving the bag a practical balance of low maintenance and everyday durability. The waterproof construction adds reassurance when the backpack is set down on damp ground or carried through unsettled weather, while the stated shockproof build adds another layer of protection for contents during transport. For users who move between car, trail and campsite, that kind of straightforward resilience is often more useful than specialist add-ons.

In use, the backpack stays focused on simple function. Two pockets and a zippered pocket help separate smaller items from the main load so essentials are easier to reach. A top handle makes the pack easy to grab from a vehicle or tent, and the shoulder straps support comfortable carry over longer walks. With no built-in rain cover, hydration sleeve or MOLLE webbing, this model remains a clean, uncomplicated option for users who want a reliable all-round outdoor backpack rather than a highly specialised pack system.

About Pinewood

Pinewood is a Swedish family-owned outdoor brand from Småland. The company’s story began with Canada flannel shirts sold in Sweden in autumn 1994, and it was formally registered in 1996. From there, Pinewood expanded into clothing and gear for hunting, hiking, fishing and outdoor activities, building a range aimed at practical field use rather than fashion-led design.

The brand is based in Värnamo, Sweden, and its established product lines include Canada shirts and Finnveden trousers. Pinewood has also broadened its offering to include equipment for dog sports. In more recent years, the company stopped using perfluorocarbons (PFCs) in 2017 and launched its first collection made entirely from recycled polyester in autumn 2020, reflecting a stronger focus on material choices within its outdoor range.
